I called [redacted] about 4 weeks ago to inquire about remote gas logs, a significant upgrade from my manual logs. After MANY failed attempts of trying to reach [redacted] he finally returned my call a week later. He stated that he would order them and call me the following Monday or Tuesday when they came in. 3 weeks later, I still haven't heard a word. Just called them again. and was told "he had to order them from a different distributor and has to go get them." And, they expect me to wait another week to have them installed.
This is the 2nd time [redacted] has done this to me. Poor business practice!!","neg-1

I would NOT recommend Tatum Insulation II to anyone unless they have weeks of waiting on "no shows". We received our quote for insulating a new construction home and agreed to have the work done on 1/12/16; they were a "no-show" due to truck problems, but they would be there on 1/14/16. At 7:30AM of the 14th my husband text the salesmen to make sure they were coming and was told they were on the way. Our job is a little over an hour from their office and at 12:30 they let us know they are broke down with transmission problems, but would be the first thing in the morning of 1/15/16. (Never heard of an hour long trip taking 5 hours with a break down only about 40 minutes from their shop or a transmission repair shop open overnight for repairs?) First thing in the morning on 1/15/16 was actually late afternoon without enough materials to do the job, BUT they would be there Monday (1/18/16) to finish says the salesmen. Monday rolls around and they are a "no-show" the excuse this time was they forgot to order insulation and they were all out, BUT they would be there on 1/20/16 to finish up. You guessed it, 1/20/16 another "no-show" and no call. I can't wait to find out their lying excuse for this fifth failed appointment. My husband and I have been in construction for over 25 years and I have NEVER experienced the lack of professionalism seen in Tatum. Consider yourself warned!","neu-1

Tatum Insulation 11 refuses to honor the warranty of the Gas fire place unit installed April 2014. hey installed the wrong unit!model [redacted], [redacted] unitDesired SettlementIf I have to hire another company to convert the Natural gas unit to LP or replace it. I want to be reimbursed for the time and cost of replacement on the parts or complete unit, plus the loss of usage over the winter. Or, they can remove the unit, replace it with the correct one and re-due all the stone work on the fireplace after they put in the correct appliance! Business Response We at Tatum Insulation II strive to make sure that we leave every customer satisfied, unfortunately sometimes certain situations arise where this becomes impossible. In this particular situation Tatum Insulation II was hired by the builder of Mr.[redacted] home and was instructed to install certain products and service, as we did. Tatum Insulation II Inc. is hired by the builder and any and all services are requested through said builder. Tatum Insulation II Inc. no longer has a business relationship with Mr.[redacted] specific builder because they have failed to pay for products and services that we have already rendered. Mr.[redacted] was instructed of this unfortunate situation when he initially made contact with Tatum Insulation II Inc. and was told he simply had to go through the Builder of his home for any and all warranty issues. We truly sympathize for the situation that Mr. [redacted] and other homeowners experience when the Builder they choose to build their homes do not completely fulfill the obligation they have been trusted with.
