I recently completed a move in downtown Los Angeles and found my OC move team to be diligent, efficient, and thoughtful. They saved me a bundle of money too as they completed my move in about 50% of the time that I was expecting. If you want to work with a reasonably-priced crew with high integrity, definitely check them out.

Best money I've spent all year! Moving is such a drag, but these guys took most of the pain out of it - they came to our residence & gave us a best case/worst case quote. Couldn't say the same for the other guys recommended to us by our agent...
Day of - they were on time, nice, friendly, & attentive. They moved our fridge, washer & dryer down 2 flights of narrow stairs, in addition to all our boxes & furniture. They took great care in getting our things in & out without any damage - they had to take the door off the hinges to get the fridge into the new place.
When I selected Meathead Movers to assist me with my recent move, I wasn't sure what I was going to get in terms of experience, care for my belongings, and efficiency with getting the work done. Ultimately, this was the best move experience that I have had! When I first called, the person on the phone walked me through the process and details of what I could expect, as well as pricing. When the team arrived, they did a wonderful job of listening to my requests and executing the move effectively and efficiently to ensure it was done timely. Also, I had to have items moved to storage as well as my new location. I was amazed at how well the team packed the items into my storage unit.
If I move again, I will definitely give Meathead Movers a call and request the team I used.

Meathead Movers are the best. They really care for the items they move and for the people they move. Adam, DJ and Stephen were very conscientious and friendly but really hustled to get the work done. They were very helpful and understanding and were in constant contact with us. We would definitely recommend Meathead Movers anytime anybody needed to move. Well worth every penny.
Meathead Movers is a thorough and reliable company and has helped me with two moves. In one instance, I needed help in a hurry and they came on one day's notice. I would highly recommend this company.
Malwlm, Jeremy, and Ramon were top notch. They worked very hard moving our furniture, all the time taking care to protect it from any kind of damage. We were very impressed, especially with the results. They really do jog when not carrying anything. They really were honest and the Meathead company even sent a refund check because we were under the initial estimate.
Meathead Movers saved me, in more ways than one! I had a complicated situation: divorced over 5 years ago, and moved into an apartment, and the kids stayed at the house with their dad. The house sold with a 20 day escrow, closing December 15. My daughter was studying in London, and my son just moved to San Francisco to start a new job. When they were growing up, they were quite spoiled as I bought them way too much stuff. And then there was the wedding china, crystal, etc. I am a small business owner and work 15 hours a day, add the holidays, the physical and emotional stress of packing, moving and creating a new space in storage for my kids when they came home for the holiday...beyond overwhelming. I called MM, and met with KC. I was 100% confident and reassured after meeting him, going through the house and explaining my needs.
We scheduled two packers to come Wednesday. They showed up right on time, and KC came by to check on everything (and bring me a Princess Packers/Meathead Movers goody bag!) and then one more stopped by about an hour later to check on the progress. She stayed to help pack, so the 4 of us packed for 7 hours.
On the day of the move, once again, the MM showed up right on time, and loaded the truck in record time. They carried 2, 3 and 4 boxes at a time, wrapped furniture, etc. and jogged when they were not carrying anything! Amazing! Then they were patient with me at the unload, when I had to organize the storage so that my daughter had access to her stuff, and that my son's stuff was easily accessible for him to take to SF. What a mess! But they did it perfectly!! Better than I could have done by myself!
I thought I was almost done, until I went to the house the next day and had a panic attack when I saw how much I had left to do! So, another SOS phone call to MM, and two movers came back Wednesday to help me load and haul the rest of the stuff! Every fiber in my body ached, my brain ached, I didn't know how I was going to get this done. But, with the help of the fabulous Meathead Movers, I did get it done.
I cannot recommend this company enough. They thought of things that I would not have, and had solutions. They were kind, professional, and STRONG!! Moving can be emotional experience, which it certainly was in my case. I will never forget what they did for me, how they took care of me and my "stuff."
There is a reason for the saying, "you get what you pay for." Meathead Movers is certainly worth every singe cent. This was truly one of the most difficult weeks in my life, and they helped me get through it.

Movers were great (Jack, Spencer, Richard, Joseph, Fernando, Joseph, Jonathan & Billy). They were fast, cooperative and very easy to deal with. However, our coordinator was only so-so. He neglected to order wardrobe boxes for the packers, as well as the correct size cartons for our large collection of vinyl LPs. Overall, I'd rate this as a good experience and would recommend Meathead.
So I know this sounds wimpy - but being over the age of 29 - we hired movers for this move. THANK GOD we did. OMGosh - how much stuff do ya need? We are thinning out, but VERY grateful for the ENTIRE staff of Meathead Movers and Princess Packers. We have had an AMAZING experience with them helping pack the kitchen and library, and the guys loading the PODS in our driveway. Next up - the MOVE!!! I am sure that will be just as awesome! Don't let the name fool you - they are TOP NOTCH!
Courteous, prompt, efficient. They showed up when they said they would. The estimated cost for the move was correct, with no funny business or hidden charges. Everyone from office staff to the student athletes who picked up and then delivered to our new location, were polite and easy-going. The entire experience as hassle-free. This company is fabulous! Unlike many moving companies, they "tailor fit" your needs. They were prompt, courteous, personable, respectful and STRONG! They never seemed to wear out and moved everything as if it were as light as a feather. I was delightfully impressed by their professionalism and yet felt like family because of the connection we developed during this time. They made me feel like family. I especially would like to name the following young men for "Above & Beyond" the call of duty: Nickolas S, Craig N, Antonio M, Christopher C,Eric N, and Dan. (I am sorry of I left anyone else off that helped.) These boys work hard. Give 'em a well deserved raise. =)

I can't recall the names of the gentleman that helped us with our first move, but for our second move we had Malcolm Allen, Fernando Gonzales and Steve Paul. All of them were polite, respectful of our belongings and the building and even put up with the occasional 2 year old being nosey without skipping a beat but instead giving him a high 5 and continuing on.
Both moves were done under the time limit and I was only charged to lowest estimate. Coming in under the time allotted even included them moving my furniture a few times as I couldn't decide where I wanted it, lol. But they always made me feel like it was what they were there for and never hesitated.
I will always recommend meathead movers to anyone looking for a trustworthy moving company and if we ever have to move again we will 100% hire them for a 3rd time!!!
This definitely does not sound like a typical move. We have looked into the issues described and were able to issue a satisfactory refund for his dry cleaning and carpet cleaning. We are so sorry we did not exceed expectations and have already spoken to the crew and reset expectations with them.

Meathead Movers has had nothing but good reviews, and they certainly earned those reviews during my move. They were on time, courteous, and worked quickly. They moved large items of furniture up a narrow staircase without damage, and wrapped everything very carefully. My moving team consisted of [redacted]. and [redacted], who were both excellent. They finished move under their estimated time. I highly recommend them!
