It's unfortunate that it has taken this long to resolve this matter.  We initially did our best to resolve this matter with the customer.  We paid the repair company that the customer chose via credit card over the phone to purchase the door and replace it.  It was not brought to our...

attention that there was an issue with Code Red ordering the wrong door until this past June.  We communicated to the customer that they needed to select another company and that we would contact Code Red to get a refund. In the mean time, there was a miscommunication where I was under the impression that the customer was going to purchase the door and I would reimburse them.  I had already paid for a door and was not going to pay for another one until I received a refund.  We cleared that issue up in a further communication but unfortunately this matter simply fell to the wayside and I personally did not make sure that it was done as it has been a very busy time.  I can only apologize for the delay and for the damage occurring in the first place.  Although we are not legally required to replace or repair damaged items, our policy is if we damage something through our negligence then we fix it.   We are in no way, shape, or form trying to avoid paying for the repair, as evidenced by the fact that we have already technically paid for the repair once.  The customer chose to not do business with the first company that they chose so here we are.As resolution, I will NOT be ordering the door, but will be sending a check to the customer for the amount of the door.   Thank you. David T[redacted]Taurus Moving

We have reviewed the complaint and have addressed the concerns of Ms. [redacted] by agreeing to a settlement of $1100 to be paid to Ms. [redacted] to use towards the repair of her damaged table by the restoration company of her choice. complete expense at the restoration company of our choosing and instead chose the settlement offer. In regard to her accusations and false statements, the only information that I provided to Ms. [redacted] regarding legal liability was completely accurate per the responsibilities required under Federal law for intrastate moving companies. Never once was Ms. [redacted] misled or given inaccurate information. Furthermore, the additional quotes requested by us were due to the large variance in price for the first quotes that Ms. [redacted] had provided. As per Federal guidelines, a moving company is allowed up to 60 days to respond to and mitigate a damage claim from a customer. We are still well within that time frame and take exception to the fact that Ms. [redacted] has chosen to portray our company as trying to use stall tactics as to insinuate that we had no intention of addressing her claim. Also, it should be noted that the initial inflated claim for repairs that Ms. [redacted] received was from a relative or friend who happened to be a woodworker (she having told our crew leader this on the day of the move) thus causing suspicion on our part that the estimate was not an accurate one, thus the request by us that she obtain other quotes. It's unfortunate that damage occurred, but it is something that does happen now and then while moving. We do try our best to address these matters in a timely matter.

customer. Thank you.

Review: This company was referred to me by a couple friends. During the move (August 1, 2014), my brand new fridge was damaged. They had taken the fridge door handles off but left the fridge doors on. When they were trying to get the fridge out of my house, I heard one of the movers say "oops" and at that same time I heard something hit the door. The fridge doors had dents in them and noticeable scratches when they brought it to my new house. I immediately showed [redacted], who was one of the movers and he said "that's not a problem and we can get that fixed or can replace the doors." He had told me that he would be in touch with me beginning of next week. However, he had never contacted me so I decided to contact him and a got ahold of him. I asked him about the person that was supposed to come look at my refrigerator and he had let me know that the guy is on vacation this week and will be back the following week. In the meantime he left me a voicemail asking me to text him the model number of my refrigerator so he could order new fridge doors. I texted him the model number and never heard back from him. The following week I gave [redacted] a call to follow up about the guy that was on vacation that was supposed to take a look at my refrigerator but [redacted] had not answer my multiple phone calls and voicemails. Finally I had decided to contact the owner of the company because this had gone on for too long. When I got in contact with the owner of Taurus Moving, LLC ([redacted]), I asked him if he had heard about my situation, in which he said he had. However, he had mentioned that the movers said that my fridge had already had all of the scratches and dents before they came. I told [redacted] if that was the case then the movers were obligated to have told me that there was damage to the fridge before they had even touched the fridge. I asked him to come look at the refrigerator because the damages that were done to it could have only occurred during the moving process. [redacted] told me that he would be available to come look at the refrigerator next week after he was done with an out of town move. Unfortunately, I was never contacted by [redacted]. I had contacted him several times and we had set multiple dates for him to come look at the damaged refrigerator doors and for all of the dates that he was supposed to show, he never did. The very last time I was in contact with [redacted], he had told me that he is very busy with other clients and I am not a priority at this point. He had also told me that I am very lucky that he is even answering my calls at this point because any other business would be ignoring my calls. He was very rude and disrespectful. He said he would stop by on Friday August 29, 2014 and of course he never showed and I never heard back from him.Desired Settlement: For the desired outcome I would like for Taurus Moving, LLC to resolve this issue by replacing the damaged fridge doors like promised.

Review: We moved on March 28,2014. The movers themselves were awesome. Really cool down to earth guys that did a great job. The reason I am writing this review? They took with them a plastic bag full of parts that put together some of our furniture. When I realized this was missing on March 30th I emailed [redacted] right away. He said he had it and that he would drop it off to my house March 31st. On April 5th when I still did not receive this I emailed him again. He responded April 7th and said he apologized and would have it to me in the next day or so. On April 17th I emailed him that we still did not have the parts. He never responded. I emailed him again on April 19th and April 29th. I was able to reach him by phone where he had a lot of excuses but no resolution. I am 10 months pregnant and cannot put some of my furniture together. Taurus was a referral from the people we were purchasing the house from and I am so beyond disappointed in the service and lack of customer response. It is so unprofessional. I have no idea when I am going to get the parts for my furniture or how I am going to be able to put it together. It is now May 8th so I have a hard time believing that in 6 weeks this could not be a resolved issue. I have so many other important things I should be worried about, like having a baby, instead of worrying about not being able to put my furniture together because of a business owner who is "too busy" to take care of his clients. We move every year pretty much so it is a shame that we definitely will not be repeat customers over a bag of parts.Desired Settlement: I would like our bag of parts returned to us. To keep them is theft and unethical.

These guys were the best! I was looking on a Thursday for someone to move all my furniture, clothes, boxes, etc. on the following Sunday morning. They were able to schedule for the day and time I wanted. They showed up early and got started right away! It was a very hot and humid day, but that didn't slow them down at all. They had to take apart some furniture and re-assemble in the new home and did a great job!!! They were so good to work with....and I would highly recommend them to anyone. I have passed their name on to friends and family. They were, by far, the best moving company I've ever worked with.

Review: We hired this moving company to pack up our house and help move us. The movers broke a few items on moving day and some other items weren't packaged properly by the movers and broke somewhere between them packing up the house and unloading items into our new house.

The owner, David T[redacted] told us face-to-face, over text and on the phone that he would reimburse us, but it's been months. He has given our family the run-around on the replaced items saying he ran out of checks, has a new bank, etc. We have yet to receive a reimbursement from this moving company.

We have been very patient, but it's been two and a half months of getting the run-around.Desired Settlement: We settled on a dollar amount of $386 from an original invoiced amount of $416 and he hasn't sent a refund in any amount.

I have personally used 6 different moving companies. Some better than others but nothing compares to the exceptional service that my elderly mother received by Taurus Moving, LLC. What a fabulous crew of honest, sincere, hard-working young men who were so patient and kind with my mother during a very stressful time. These guys even gave her decorating tips. Not one item was broken or damaged and they moved a large household with 60 years of accumulation.

My mother, my sister and I loved them so much, we have called on them since. We would use no other company.

A truly wonderful, wonderful crew with very inexpensive rates.

Taurus Moving arrived on time and did a wonderful job of moving me. They protected my property by wrapping in moving blankets and had the correct tools to move all my items. They worked swiftly and delivered my property, put it where I wanted and even set up the bed. They are experienced movers and had great customer service skills.
