My husband and I paid almost $1600.00 for our 2018 taxes to be completed and electronically filed which we have copies of and a form letter stating the same and because our 2017 taxes had been done elsewhere they offered to evaluate our 2017 taxes which we were told they submitted an amended form and charged us the same amount To complete that year. We have since had our 2019 taxes done elsewhere and the IRS has confirmed receiving. To date the 2018 taxes have not been received by the IRS thus my family has not received our refund or the COVID-19 supplemental. We have called many, many times with NO communication. We would send our taxes although we have more received all of our documents to submit including our W-2's.
Please we our desperate. Thank you.

THEFT OF SERVICE $300
ON 3/8/18 I GAVE TAX FREEDOM ALLIENCE A $300 DEPOSIT TO PREPARE MY 2018 TAXES. THE TAXES WERE NEVER COMPLETED. I EMAILED THE OFFICE SERVERAL TIMES AFTER THE 4/15/19 FILING DEADLINE HAD PASSED. FOR A TIME THERE WAS ONLY A RECOFDING AND THEN NOTHING. I DROVE BY THE OFFICE AND THE GATES WERE LOCKED AND CHAINED CLOSED. FINALLY IN JUNE I WA ABLE TO REACH A PERSON NAMED MICHAEL WHO SAID THE IRS RAIDED THEIR OFFICE AND TOOK ALL RECORDS AND THE WERE WAITING FOR THEIR RETURN. HE SAID THAT IF I WISHED A REFUND I COULD COME OVER AND THEY WOULD PAY ME. I SAID I WILL WAIT ANOTHER MONTH SINCE THEY HAD ALL MY TAX INFORMATION AND PIN FOR THE IRS. IN JUNE THE PHONES WENT DEAD AGAIN. I COMPILED A WHOLE NEW SET OF RECORDS AND WENT TO ANOTHER CPA AND HAD MY TAXES DONE. BECAUSE I DID FILE LATE I HAD TO PAY ANOTHER $166 IN INTEREST AND PENALTIES. IN LATE SEPTEMBER I DROVE BY TAX FREEDOM ALLIANCE AND FINALLY THE OFFICE WAS OPEN. I WENT IN AND PERSONALLY TAKED TO DENI *** THE OWNER AND SHE SAID SHE WOULD BE HAPPY TO REFUND MY $300 BUT SHE ONLY WRITE CHECKS ON FRIDAY SO PLEASE SENT HER MY HOME ADDRESS BY EMAIL AND SHE WOULD SEND ME A CHECK. AS OF THIS WRITING 10/15/19 I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE MY REFUND

Our $300 retainer fee was never returned and our taxes were never done.
We paid this company a $300 retainer fee to do our 2017 taxes. We paid this amount by check in Feb of 2018. We saw that the company closed down for some type of investigation. We contacted the IRS to see if anything had been filed. Nothing had been done, and an extension was not filed either. We had to contact another company to do our taxes. We later had to pay a penalty fee as well. We have contacted Tax Freedom Alliance several times by phone and by email since April to get our retainer back. Some email and phone calls were unanswered. Other times the receptionist said we will put it in the mail. We have not received anything by mail. They are no longer returning out phone calls. We would like our $300 back for the service that was never rendered.

Failure to file my taxes in a timely manner and failure to answer the phone or respond to messages and emails
I filed my taxes with this office on March 12, 2018 after having a great experience the previous year. Since that time I have not heard anything from this office regarding my taxes which I already paid them over $700 to file. I have called daily numerous times and get no answer and no response to messages. I called the IRS and they have no even received my taxes yet. My husband and I are in the process of trying to buy a home and because I have a business the bank needs my 2017 taxes to qualify ya for the loan. So now not only is this office messing with my taxes but they're also messing with me buying a home.

Took $312 deposit to do my taxes but failed to deliver.
I submitted my tax information and paid a deposit via credit card in February 2018. After multiple emails over the following 3 months I kept being told they were behind and to check back in a couple of weeks. Attempted to call them again and saw reviews online saying they were raided by the IRS. I have requested a refund for their failure to deliver service but have not received a response.

We left our tax documents with this company. They said they would file an extension to our taxes and do our taxes, but failed to do so. We paid them.
On the morning of April 5, 2018 my husband and I went to TAX FREEDOM ALLIANCE located on 3500 Powerline Rd. Oakland Park, FL, XXXXX to file our taxes. We paid them a total of $762.30 when we left our first and only meeting in order to begin the process. $422.30 was paid on my credit card and the remaining $340 in cash. Since the deadline was closely approaching and it would take a few weeks to complete filing our taxes since they said they were extremely busy and had a pipeline of customers to take care of, they said they would file for an extension for us. We left all of our paperwork with them (W2s, 1099's, 2015 & 2016 tax returns, and other tax forms) with all of our personal information.
We have tried calling the office numerous times and have not heard from them. The office is apparently shut down as well. After calling the IRS, we found out they did not file for an extension for us. We are very concerned because we have heard of the same complaint with other customers who went there for their tax services.

I dropped off my taxes with a $300 payment 3 months ago. I have called several times, sent emails, and have shown up to the office. The voicemail is full, no response to my emails, and the office property is locked. I have not received any information regarding my taxes. They have all my original copies of my documents to complete my tax refund. I have been using this company for many years and I have never been treated this poorly. I was told by an employee a couple months ago that they are over their head with clients this year and will hopefully get it done soon. Since then I have not heard anything! I am furious because I was expecting my tax refund to be in my account by now but I don't even know if they have touched my file. I have been left in the dark and made a payment of $300 for a service that I have NOT received nor any form of communication.

On April 5 I went to the company to file my taxes just find out they been busted by the FBI and they took my file taxes payment

Went to tax freedom alliance to do our taxes. Went to her office in Ft. Lauderdale with all our document and paid her 300.00 dollars. After a few weeks called to find out how it was going. The office said they were behind and will get to ours soon. After another month went by we called and not no answer. We proceed to email the office when they finally got back to us saying they are still behind and will have to file an extension. They told us everything will be fine and will get done. In the beginning of April we started to call because we want to make sure the extension was filed. No one answered the phone or emails. For a month straight we contained to email and call. Finally in the first week of May I drove down there only to find their office closed and locked up. We tried calling and emailing again no answer. My husband and I have to get all new documents and file with an another accountant.

Took my money and paperwork and closed down.
I dropped off my 2015, 2016 and 2017 taxes on March 1,2018 and paid the $309. retainer. I was told that me taxes will be ready in 4 weeks. I called the business the beginning of May and received no response. I've been calling and sending emails since. No response. I went by the business several times in different days and the business us closed. I filed theft and fraud reports with the Sheriffs Office. I want my paperwork back and a full refund.

Sent my tax information in late May in which they also took $300 deposit. Never heard back from them.

I turned in all my tax documents, W2, etc, on February 12th, 2018, paid $300 for a deposit to prepare my taxes and was told that in 2-3 weeks I would hear back from them with the refund amount. I called in March to check the status of the refund and the person I spoke to said that they were delayed and were working urgently on finishing my taxes. It has been three months and I still have not received a phone call. I've tried contacting them numerous times without any luck at reaching anyone. I finally took things into my own hands and went to the office on May 10th, 2018, around 3pm, when I got there, I was surprised to see that the gates, doors and parking lot was closed. There business hours are supposed to be Monday -Friday, 9am-5pm. When I left, I quickly called FBI office to see if anything had been filed against them but nothing came up in there system. I called the local IRS office and was told that my taxes still hadn't been filed nor had an extension been filed on my behalf.

I paid for their tax services and they did nothing
They were supposed to file my taxes and the day before the dead line said they had to file an extension. Now I can't get in touch with anyone at that location and they wont return my calls or emails. Their voice mail machine has been turned off or is not working...

Took payment for services, closed up shop without a word and left no way for refund or information
Tax freedom alliance took money from my fiance and I approx 4 months ago. I have been trying to contact them for over a month since tax season is now over and I havent heard a word from them. Multiple clients have complained on google about this problem. No one answers the phone, the buildingg shes based out of is chained up. No information left on her website. Basically no way to contact, no way to get a refund. She just disappeared with everyones money

Freedom Tax Alliance took my retainer of $300. To prepare my federal tax return, and never filed.
In March 2018, I paid Freedom Tax Alliance $300. as a retainer to do my 2017 federal tax return. They never filed my taxes, and would not answer my calls. When I went to the business, the doors were locked and no reason was posted as to why the business was closed. I have no way of retrieving the documents that I gave them, and now I have had to find another firm to file my taxes. I will be subject to penalties because they did not file my tax return or file for an extension.

My CPA has not filed my 2017 taxes and will not return calls and office is closed.
I provided Freedom Tax Alliance with my 2017 tax details in early March of 2018 for them to prepare and file my taxes. In addition, I provided them with IRS paperwork regarding my 2015 amendment.

After several calls to their office and messages, the company never returned my calls or informed me that I needed to file an extension because they will need additional time to prepare my taxes.

I have continued to call their office and I am unable to leave a message because their voice mail is full. In addition, I have gone to their office during business hours and the gates are closed.

Unable to contact company regarding tax returns dropped off in February 2018. No responses to phone calls, emails....and rumored that office is shut?
2017 tax returns not filed. Collected $1700 upfront and no service completed. Unable to get through to speak with office nor email response in the matter.
