Tax Man

on or about 10 FEB 2020 a personal named Tedreall from the tax preparer's business of the "TAXMAN" prepared my taxes. She never told me upfront the cost of preparing them. Upon completion of the taxes, I asked what was the total? Tedreall told me it was $500. I immediately told her that was way too much for tax preparation and not to file my taxes. She informed me that they would not be filed. I DID NOT sign any tax forms nor did I give anyone at the business authorization to file my 2020 taxes, yet they were filed anyway. on 28 Feb 2020 I received a cashier's check via mail from the " Taxman" in the sum of $993.15. I immediately called them and asked them why did they send me a check. This is when they informed me that my taxes had been filed without my authorization. I asked the manager to resolve the issue, she has not as of yet. I also asked to speak with the owner of the company but to no avail.
