On October 8th, 2015, the Half Moon Volunteer Fire Department (HMVFD) contracted with Jacksonville Paving Company, to repave the fire department parking lots and repaint the parking linesThe initial project was completed around 12/17/15, per the invoice from Jacksonville PavingThe initial payment ($15,168) was paid by HMVFDThe company performed the repaving but didn't repaint the parking linesThe administrative board of directors (BOD), at HMVFD, also noted that there were several areas of pavement that needed correctionThe BOD contacted Jacksonville Paving to have them reassess and repair the areasJacksonville Paving returned, after multiple telephone and in person interactions, and patched a few areas that needed repairJacksonville Paving then sent a letter to the BOD stating that they were going to take the department to court to collect on
