Upon being advised of a possible negative experience on the Revdex.com from a colleague to whom I highly recommended TRS I felt compelled to share my very positive experience. TRS has successfully reduced my taxes three separate years. Everyone with whom I interacted with was professional, responsive and diligent in explaining the steps of the process and progress. The individuals at TRS managed all of the paperwork, preparation and communication necessary to execute the reductions. I have since recommended them to neighbors, work colleagues and friends. All of had similar experiences and fantastic results. TRS is a professional organization with many highly experienced employees. I will continue to highly recommend.

TRS just reduced my property taxes 11 ½ percent! The process was pain free - I completed a simple form and TRS did everything else, just like they said. Anyone that I spoke with was extremely professional. I will be sure to recommend them to all my friends, family and neighbors.

We filed a grievance in 2013 and just now received a letter after a long lapse in communication from TRS. After hearing nothing for the past year, I finally sent an email requesting an update on the status of the grievance and they responded, stating that our court date was that very same day which I find oddly coincidental. I expected an update shortly thereafter but heard nothing. I followed up several weeks later after hearing nothing from them again and I was told our grievance was denied and they blamed the courts for the delay. In all fairness, I'm sure there is a delay but we were treated like nothing more than a number to them. TRS did not keep us updated as to what was transpiring except maybe one letter each year telling us it was delayed. The worst part is during my communication with them, they explained that our home was fairly appraised but I learned they were comparing our 3 bedroom, 1900 sq ft. Victorian with 2600 sq ft 4 bedroom colonials. TRS did not do their research and obviously did not do an appraisal like they are supposed to (but they would have charged me $50 for one had we won the grievance.)

We lost two years in the process now and have to start all over again because TRS did not do the appraisal or confirm with us, from the start, what type or size of house we have v.s. what the county record shows or what they thought I had. I requested copies of the paperwork filed on our behalf but received nothing from them.

I have used several other firms in the past and will continue to use firms other than TRS in the future.
