cooperative in letting us try to diagnose the problems.  Our app was designed to track and save a persons driving. The software tracks the individual trips based on movement.  But in order for the app to work properly you must be logged in.  According to the phone call, he mentioned that he just logged in and it hadn't saved any trips since November. If he was not logged in then the software would not be able to track trips. Without more information we cannot determine the cause of him being logged out of his application.  But we regularly encourage users to classify trips in a timely manner.  Based on the information we have of the user not having been logged into the app for 5 months we would not be able to save any data to our cloud storage. In an attempt to help, we explained to him that the IRS does have a method to take an average of a minimum of 90 days of mileage and use the average to extrapolate the yearly mileage.  And since he had 11 months of 2017 he had more than enough data.  We also gave him the phone number for an accounting firm that he could talk to and confirm the validity of this response. We offered a full refund. But he declined with a threat of a lawsuit. We hope Mr. [redacted] will have a change of heart and decide to work with us in a cooperative manner to further assist.
