Review: I gave TAXCO money to represent me for a back tax issue in 2011. They were to also submit my back taxes to the IRS. The person assigned to my case was [redacted]. I was sent forms for me to complete and submit to them containing the necessary information for them to complete IRS tax forms. I submitted the required information but, they didn't submit the information to the IRS. I was told they were going to submit an extension for late filing for 2011. I later was notified by the IRS that a extension was not filed. They said that [redacted] filed the extension but, it was late when I called to ask about it. I was also told that they submitted documentation to the IRS that they represented me, yet the IRS said they had no record of them representing me. I communicated with TAXCO trying to get them to honor our contract until tax time of 2014. I let them know I continued to be unhappy with their service. They set up a teleconference to discuss the issue but nothing was resolved. I had been told prior to the teleconference that [redacted]'s daughter had problems and later died and that was the reason for the delays. When I called TAXCO and told them I had hired someone else to submit my late tax reports TAXCO said they would submit the reports. I told them it was to late because the other company had already performed the task. I later received a call from them saying they had completed one IRS report. I told them it was too late because the other company completed the work already. I notified them that I wanted them to return my money ($3500.00) because they had not honored our contact. I was told they would get back to me but never heard back from them.Desired Settlement: I would like them to return my money because they did not honor the contract I signed with them. They also did not try to honor the contract within a reasonable time frame.
