Good Afternoon...
[redacted], ...⇄ January 19, 2015 On June 28, 2013, Mrs. [redacted] purchased the vehicle and at the time of closing, also signed the 50/50 Limited Warranty (Taylor Auto Credit pays 50% & customer pays 50%) agreement with the starting mileage at 125,065. On December 29, 2014 the car was brought in to the shop with the complaint of a "tapping noise from engine" with the mileage currently at 144,866. Taylor Auto Credit Warranty department diagnosed the car with an internal engine failure that needed to be repaired. The total cost of parts and labor for repairs were estimated at about $3,000 dollars. This repair would fall under our 50/50 Limited Warranty policy; were the customer is responsible for half of repairs ($1,500). At that time the customer refused to comply with the 50/50 Limited Warranty agreement. Taylor Auto Credit even offered to do the repair and finance the entire dollar amount with no money down at zero interest. To date, Mrs. [redacted] has failed to keep any form of communication with Taylor Auto Credit in regards to the vehicle and how to proceed. We will gladly put the customer in an Enterprise rental car, free of cost to the customer; if only she would make contact. We are here to help Mrs. [redacted] but we have lost contact with her; and we would like for Mrs. [redacted] to call us so that we are able to work this issue out. Attached is the Limited Warranty coverage signed by Mrs. [redacted] on June 28, 2013 at the time of purchase. If you have any questions, or need additional information, please feel free to contact me. Warm Regards, [redacted] Taylor Auto Credit [redacted] Taylor, TX [redacted] 512-[redacted]
My name is [redacted]r. My husband [redacted] & I have owned Taylor Auto Credit for 25 years. We try very hard to help & please our customers & do business the right way. The customer of this account [redacted], after having been up to 3 months...
past due because child support was her income at the time & it wasn’t coming in as planned, we did have to reposess this vehicle. The customer did tell us where the vehicle was & we did reposess it. But we were never told there were any mechanical problems at that time. There were mechanical problems in the beginning of her purchase and we did have the vehicle in our shop and we repaired the vehicle for free to [redacted]. [redacted] never paid us any money for any repair. Regarding reporting her credit, we did tell her we report to Experian. Unfortunately, we had a manager we thought was reporting credit as instructed & as soon as we found out she wasn’t we had to reinstate our account with Experian which took 9 months (Experian was behind). We did get back online with Experian in June 2014 & that is why [redacted]’s account was reported in June. We are in the process of transferring files from the months that weren’t report as instructed so [redacted]’s entire history will be reported eventually we hope. For seven months [redacted] did pay well & we are more than happy to tell any company or anyone her history at her request & provide proof of [redacted]’s pay history. We were very sorry to have to reposess this customer’s car.
First of all they never said anything about a rental car or never offered a rental car to me when they had someone call me on Saturday the 17th at 11:53am! And yes the 50/50 but why.should pay anything on a 125 mileage car that after a year and seven months the motor went out? And still pay the 6,000 I still owe on the car? and the only offered they made is to remove 1,000 from the 6,000 but pay in payments the 1,800 what a deal.
