Description Of Work: Taylor Brock provided a quote to install their Gutter Glove productWe signed the contract and provided the deposit but after three installation trips the product was not installed and Taylor Brock informed us that they'd "have to walk away from the job." They canceled our contract and returned the deposit Comments: The initial sales call went very wellThe rep was very professional and knowledgableWe got our quote promptly and immediately signed the contract and provided the depositThe contract stated that Taylor Brock had three weeks to complete the job; beyond that they were unable to provide any hard installation date Installers came to our house three times in the three week periodOn the first trip the installer informed us that our gutters were attached to the house with screws and nails, which was unexpected and undiscovered by the rep on his initial callHe left the site without telling us how the company intended to respond We contacted the rep who explained that the attachment of our gutters was not noticed in his original call, and that if this was indeed the case and the gutters were not easily removed to accommodate GutterGlove the company would completely replace our gutters at no cost to us An installer came to our house a second time and again said that he'd be unable to complete the work because of the attachment of our gutters to the houseHe also left the site without speaking to us about the company's next steps Our rep promised us that the job would be taken care of - meaning replacement of our gutters and installation of Gutter Glove - on Friday, June 30, which was a the end of our 3-week periodLate in the afternoon, a single installer came to the house and again remarked that the gutters would have to be replaced in order to install Gutter Glove and furthermore, we could not complete the job that day but could only install the product on our porchWhen we insisted that Taylor Brock return early Monday to complete the job he went out to his truck for a time and then left the site, again without making contact with us We were furious at this point, as TB installers had now been to the house times and nothing had been doneEach time a single guy had arrived and at no time did they unload either equipment or productThey'd simply climb a ladder, inspect the gutters and tell us that they were attached with screws and nails, and that this made things much more difficult We contacted our rep on June after the installer's departure and he informed us that TB would have to "walk away from the job." He said they didn't want to be responsible to damage to our house in the process of replacing the guttersWe asked for written cancellation of the contract and return of our deposit, which the company provided The real issue with this job is that the company made three installation trips and never did any actual workEach trip amounted to a re-stating of the problem with our current gutter installationEach time the installer left the site without speaking to us about TB's next stepEach time the installer failed to unload product or any equipment beyond a ladderWhile the rep was courteous the company clearly failed to understand the complexity of the job - even after all these visits - and failed to make good on their promise to replace the gutters
