I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved
Regards,
*** ***

To whom it may concern:I have read the complaint and will attempt to explain my side of the story. In September of I removed wallpaper, repaired and primed walls in the hallway and master bedroom. I hung paintable wallpaper provided by the customer according to manufacturer's instructions. I then painted the wallpaper with two coats of paint. The wallpaper in the hallway adhered fine but the paper in the bedroom did not. The standard industry warranty for this type of installation is one year and this parameter has been far exceeded. Sometimes despite your best efforts, products fail. I am not to blame for the product failure, therefore I feel no monetary reimbursement is required. In February of we reached an agreement to remove the paper and repaint as he stated. Some details were omitted from the timeline. I informed him that because of an automobile accident I was involved in, that I was having health issues and would not be available until June to do the work. In an email dated May 26th, I informed the customer that I would not be available until July, as I still was unable to work full days. In an email dated June 25th, the customer informed me that his wife was having surgery and that August would be the best time to do scheduled work. In an email dated August 21, the customer informed me that he was having heart surgery and would not be able to have work done until late September or early October. By that time I was in the middle of a large new construction project. I scheduled the job for December 7th and 8th thinking that I had until the end of the year to finish new construction project. The general contractor I was working for changed my deadline to December which left me unable to fulfill the December commitment. The way I see it is that the customer changed our date twice and I changed it once. Counter proposal: I am not the type of contractor who doesn't try to fulfill my commitments and have not had any complaints since opening my business in 1997. I feel badly that I had to postpone the work, but I am available to do it now. I am willing to do the work in January and as a good faith effort to make things right, I am willing to pay for the approximately $worth of materials to complete the job but would like to be paid the $per hour or $whichever turns out to be the lower amount

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
In an apparent response to an email from the Revdex.com,
MrTaylor has offered the following:“Okay, I can do January 11th, 12th and the 15th if needed. Alternate dates would be January 22, 23, and if needed. I'm sorry about the recent unavailability. I don't enjoy being jerked around by these builders but since I've shifted over to percent new construction work, I have to be available for their deadlines. Let me know if any of these dates work and I'll schedule in ink this time. ***”Assuming these to be dates-certain, we are prepare to modify our offer to resolve the complaint as follows:MrTaylor affirms that the offered dates are dates-certain (we prefer the January 11, & dates), purchases the materials to complete the job, and in light of the $dollars we have already invested in the project, foregoes any labor charges required to complete the projectTo complete the project, he shall remove and dispose of the wallpaper, repair the walls as required, prime the walls with a high-quality primer, paint the walls with two coats of an agreed upon high-quality finishing paint to the color we specify, and touof the ceiling, doors and woodwork-trim as required, all done in a good workmanship like manner during the agreed upon dates-certain.*** ** ***

As a good faith effort to resolve our issues, I will agree to do the work proposed at no charge beginning on January 11 at 9 AM.
