Review: This is the second complaint I have made against Taylor Landscape & Construction. [redacted] replied to my last complaint with the Revdex.com and said that he would repair our walkway and patio in the beginning of summer 2013. This business put in a patio and front and back walkways in the summer of 2011. We have had continuous problems since. We are just trying to get this business to honor their contract, their word, and their 5 yr warranty to complete this project as promised. There are multiple areas that need touching up, the sealer needs to be reapplied, there are various areas where the concrete is coming out like craters, and half of the back walkway is crumbling. The owner never comes out to inspect but rather sends his employee named [redacted] looked at the walkway and said it needs to be ripped out and replaced due to the poor concrete that was poured. [redacted] emailed me and said we would be the first ones in summer to get our issues fixed. Obviously by this complaint, he once again failed to honor his contractual agreement. Many of his emails tell me that they will fix their faulty concrete when they are in our area, or he tells us to be patient and they will get out here soon, or he told us that at one point we would be next as they had the concrete ordered, and the last one was for us to be patient because he has had trouble getting help to finish the job (this last emails was at the end of summer now). This has been two years now that we have been way too patient waiting to get this resolved. Three summers of continuous problems. We can't even imagine what the patio/walkways will look like after this winter. This company should have never received the final payment on this project. While it appeared to look fine once they completed it, the issues started appearing shortly after when the bricks were sliding down in our new fire pit. This took them three times to fix with [redacted] constantly saying this stuff never happens. The following March, we noticed peeling all over the place and then pieces falling out and now crumbling. Well, now we are working with an attorney because this business' contract agreement and word are useless.Desired Settlement: We already stated that we wanted this completed properly and to our satisfaction this past summer. This is all we wanted was for the project to be completed as expected without any defects. This is expected to be completed in the Spring of 2014 with absolutely no excuses and no exceptions. Period. There is absolutely no excuse for a business to treat a very good paying customer this way. This was about a $12,000 project that was fully paid for by the contract requirements. Either get this completed or we expect to be compensated for our loss so that we may contract with a respectable business that honors a commitment.

Mrs [redacted] is correct there is a issue with a area of there walkway,we looked at it and told her we would replace the said area,I know it has taken awhile and we are still intened on fixing it for her,I am short staffed this year 2 of my main workers left ,one moved out of state and one went onto another field of work,so I am behind in my work load and repairs,I did tell her that, and I thought it would have been handled by now,but we are just finishing up our installs, and I plan on coming out there to saw cut and export the end walk area, and pour it in spring,Mrs [redacted] a few other issues with chips and marks and we came out to fix those as she asked,I will be there to make the correct repairs it is just taking a bit longer to make them,I will be in touch with her ,I have been ib buisness since 2001 and have 6 complaits about me and over 1000 installs since I started and have won numorus awards, for my work,Mrs [redacted] has been 2 of my 6 complaints,I will take care of it I keep my word.

Review: I hate to complain and I tried to avoid doing this, but I feel I have no choice.

I contracted Mike with Taylor Landscape last fall 2015 to have a stamped patio done at my house. It was completed October 2015. During the initial walkthru and quoting process, Mike from TLC texted me a quote for the work. He stated that he would warranty his work against defects and cracking for a period of two years. This was one of his major selling points, and was the main reason I chose to go with his services. I requested that he please give me a copy of his warranty in writing, along with a copy of the invoice or a receipt for payment. I have not received any of these items. I texted the owner 6 times between October and December of 2015, requesting these items. Each time he texted me back and said "sorry, I will get it to you". I never received these items. I have also e-mailed him twice in January and February of 2016 requesting a receipt and warranty statement. Each e-mail I sent was ignored.

I am pleased with the work that was done, but I have zero documentation or proof that it was ever done except for my cancelled checks from the bank. I have zero documentation (except for his verbal confirmation at the time the bid was done) that he will stand by his work. I have zero documentation backing up his verbal promise to repair any cracks or weather/ settling related damage within the first two years.

Therefore, I am requesting that the Revdex.com assist with obtaining this requested documentation.Desired Settlement: I request that Mike Taylor, from Taylor Landscape and Construction, follow thru with his promise to send me two items:

1) a receipt indicating that the poured and stamped patio was in fact done by him in October 2015 in the amount of $6600.

2) a written and signed document stating that he will warranty his work for a period of two years of completion to include any defects or cracks in poured and stamped concrete patio, and that this warranty will expire November 1st, 2017

Review: In June 2012 [redacted] Landscape & Concrete installed a stamped concrete patio over my existing patio. For this service we paid the sum of $5,960.00 on June 26, 2012. Later in the summer we noticed concrete separating from the patio. I called [redacted] a number of times during the summer and was told that the job "was on the board." The repair was never performed. At the beginning of the summer of 2013 I again called [redacted] to remind him of the repair. I called him numerous times to no avail. Finally, in October of 2013 his employee [redacted] called to inquire about the repair. I told him I wouldn't be home that day but that he could go into my backyard and check out the patio. I have never heard from either [redacted] or [redacted] since that date.Desired Settlement: I would either like the repair performed or a refund so I can have the patio replaced by a reputable company.
