All I every hear with this alleged "law firm" is that they are "non-attorney debt collectors." They bought up an outstanding loan my wife and I had Unfortunately, medical emergency befell our familyI suffered a heart attack To get out from under debt, we hired another company who was supposed to negotiate with our debtors, of which there were twoone was [redacted] ***, one was [redacted] *** They sent us a letter moslater after paying them $540/month saying they "couldn't help us", we weren't able to get all the money we poured into it So Taylor Law Firm bought the debt and we signed an agreement to pay a monthly amount What we didn't know and what wasn't made clear is that we were actually signing a "judgement", not an agreement We missed a payment when we decided to pay a tax bill in March of $1, They called to tell us they were "garnishing wages" of my wife Keep in mind, she is a school teacher As I looked at the judgement finally, it lists no judge, but does say her paycheck will be garnished, and I know legally that can be up to 30%, an amount we cannot afford My wife and I have called them every day since we found out about this, trying to negotiate a settlement They NEVER return our calls, and the person who is supposed to be in charge of our account, "Becky" is never available We offered a settlement of half of a 19k debt, then the debtor ( [redacted] ***) came back with 15k, I immediately countered for $12k, money I'd need to borrow on against my house I came home from work to find out they used the guise of "garnishment" to somehow deplete every cent in two bank accounts, the only accounts we have, a joint account of my wife and I, and the account her direct deposit goes into Both accounts have a negative balance now In total they "garnished" over $without any notification at all, leaving us with a negative balance AS you can see this is quite a bit more than 30% of her income which around [redacted] per year Because it is after hours I have nothing I can do until business tomorrow (even thought the company web site claims they have people there until 8pm) I am horrified that they can do this Add with it, the completely demeaning attitude of "Becky" and many of her co-workers, they have been condescending and judgemental beyond belief, they claim they have a "policy" that once the judgement has been enacted, they never rescind it Right now I'm just trying to figure out how a company can operate this way They are impossible to get hold of and dishonest and unfair in their practices

We can say that Ms*** has entered into an Agreed Judgment which calls for payment of a specific amount with interest, through monthly payments. That judgement is of record with the Russell CoAL Circuit Court. Sincerely, *** ***Senior Attorney

All I every hear with this alleged "law firm" is that they are "non-attorney debt collectors." They bought up an outstanding loan my wife and I had. Unfortunately, medical emergency befell our family... I suffered a heart attack. To get out from under debt, we hired another company who was supposed to negotiate with our debtors, of which there were two... one was [redacted], one was [redacted]. They sent us a letter 8 mos. later after paying them $540/month saying they "couldn't help us", we weren't able to get all the money we poured into it. So Taylor Law Firm bought the debt and we signed an agreement to pay a monthly amount. What we didn't know and what wasn't made clear is that we were actually signing a "judgement", not an agreement. We missed a payment when we decided to pay a tax bill in March of $1,000. They called to tell us they were "garnishing wages" of my wife. Keep in mind, she is a school teacher. As I looked at the judgement finally, it lists no judge, but does say her paycheck will be garnished, and I know legally that can be up to 30%, an amount we cannot afford. My wife and I have called them every day since we found out about this, trying to negotiate a settlement. They NEVER return our calls, and the person who is supposed to be in charge of our account, "Becky" is never available. We offered a settlement of half of a 19k debt, then the debtor ([redacted]) came back with 15k, I immediately countered for $12k, money I'd need to borrow on against my house. I came home from work to find out they used the guise of "garnishment" to somehow deplete every cent in two bank accounts, the only accounts we have, a joint account of my wife and I, and the account her direct deposit goes into. Both accounts have a negative balance now. In total they "garnished" over $1500.00 without any notification at all, leaving us with a negative balance. AS you can see this is quite a bit more than 30% of her income which around [redacted] per year. Because it is after hours I have nothing I can do until business tomorrow (even thought the company web site claims they have people there until 8pm). I am horrified that they can do this. Add with it, the completely demeaning attitude of "Becky" and many of her co-workers, they have been condescending and judgemental beyond belief, they claim they have a "policy" that once the judgement has been enacted, they never rescind it. Right now I'm just trying to figure out how a company can operate this way. They are impossible to get hold of and dishonest and unfair in their practices.
