I bought a new passat tdi but was not made aware of the tax credit and lost out on a $500 credit . as well as a $1000 costumer satisfaction for the tdi emission problem . so ive lost all of this and I bought a new car from them . I guess they didnt want me to know . just to sell a nother car
The sales and finance staff at Taylor VW went above and beyond to provide the very best sales experience when buying my new Tiguan. ","pos-1
Taylor Volkswagen first tried to deny corrosion warranty service for my [redacted]. Then after I complained, they put little effort in resolving issue. My drivers side rocker panel was denied corrosion warranty coverage even though the passenger side rocker panel (which was approved) had EXACTLY the same rust perforation that was supposedly covered by the VW Warranty (12 years guarantee of no rust).[redacted]Customer compliant RUST FORMING ON ROCKER PANELSDesired SettlementI would like to see Taylor Volkswagen take some ownership and responsibility for their product ([redacted] 2008) and their CORROSION WARRANTY which guarantees against rust perforation for 12 years from the date of purchase (August 2008).Why would the company replace one (passenger side) rocker panel but not the (driver side) other rocker panel. Both had rust formations that were not caused by me AND it is well within the 12 year guarantee of no rust formation. I would like Taylor Volkswagen to pay for the total replacement cost of the Driver Side rocker panel on my [redacted] 2008.Business Response The Volkswagen corrosion policy in Canada is dealt with at the corporate level only, leaving the independent dealers with no say in the process. Once a customer comes in for a paint/corrosion issue we have to follow a strict guideline from VW. It is an online process ( [redacted]) The VW Warranty Paint Department sends back an authorization or a decline, as you can see for Mr. [redacted]. If the customer wishes to dispute the decision his only avenue is to call Volkswagen Customer Care @ 1-800-822-8987 were he may voice his concerns. This is what we had discussed with Mr. [redacted]. We do not have a body shop on site at the VW store, nor are we trained in any paint/corrosion aspects, thus we have no opinion on any paint claim approval or denial. [redacted]. If approved the customer then has to take his vehicle to a Volkswagen approved local body shop to have the repairs completed in a timely fashion as the approval does come with an expiry date as noted on the form from VW.
