I began the job with thinking I was going to be re-staining and tiling backsplash in kitchen I was told to price the job according to just me doing the job and time was not an issue Without extra cost, I made in excess of 15-trips to change both tile colors, and cabinet colors
I was also asked to do small jobs in the meantime I was basically there to fix someone else's work that was unsatisfactory I tried to explain that in order to fix everything properly, there had to be extra charges due to unforeseen issues that come up during the job That was unacceptable, *** state that I should know those things, if I were a professional With the different sizes of tile chosen, every size came with its own set of circumstances I was running myself ragged, driving as far as Cincinnati to get samples for them At a certain point, I decided it was in my best interest to walk away from the job They held on to money, and I did not collect in full Certain people look at magazines or other houses and think that every job should look the same And certain people cannot ever be fully satisfied The Indian culture inherently believes we are the working class and should be working for them And have no say I have a family to provide for and I made a stance to not work extra for free any longer Extras were going to be extra I would leave at the end of a day and everything was fine, the next morning itching was right That happened every day it seemed
