We had a change of management in our shipping department.We have done our best to give this customer the best information possible. Realizing that an error was made we gave the customer a full refund. We have an excellent reputation across the board and this is not how we do business. In fact the...
[redacted] received this same complaint and recognized it as inaccurate and removed it.
Review: On December 23rd, I pleased an order through [redacted] with the company and on the 24th I received the shipping notice and the USPS tracking information. On January 12th I contacted the seller as I still had not received by order and learned it was on backorder and would ship sometime in the future.
How can this be I wondered as the web site stated it was in stock would be shipped within 1 – 2 days. And I was never notified type of a delay.
While this may seem minor, as I look at what actually occurred, I’m sure that boarder line fraud practices were at play, and at least just plain poor customer service.
Facts of the Transaction:
1) They misrepresented on the web site that the product was in stock (Fraud?)
2) They charged my credit card without having the goods to ship (Fraud?)
3) They sent a notice to USPS to pick-up a product they didn’t have in stock, and to create a tracking number as if the product had shipped (Fraud?)
4) They didn’t have the customer service processes in place to notify the buyer of any possible delays (Poor Customer Service)Desired Settlement: I just want this recorded so that other consumers don't have the same problem.
And if any of the actions taken by Taylor's Market, such as processing a USPS pick-up for a product not in inventory so they can charge the credit card are fraudulent than this matter be turned over to the Attorney General for prosecution.
