[redacted] brought her 1999 [redacted] in for Inspection & Emissions on 7/31/13.  At that time, we installed a tensioner assembly and 3 belts.  We offer an 18 months / 18,000 miles warranty on our repairs.  We have not heard from [redacted] or seen her since that...

time.   The tensioner assembly (idler pulley) was brand new and we have the invoice from [redacted], where it was purchased.  Scott had no reason to give her a hard time and does not recall doing so.

I am rejecting this response because: 
Dear [redacted],   
      I am writing you to explain my bad experience with Mr. Taylor the Mechanic/Owner of this auto shop. He not only lied to me, he humiliated me in front of other customers and the lady at in the front office to the point I was crying. I took my friend [redacted] with me to pick up my car, after being told it was ready. I was to upset to go on my own after her previous experience. The receptionist, who is also the Owner/Mechanics wife, felt the need to call me and apologized for her husbands behavior. When I showed up with [redacted] she again apologized ,she was visibly upset with her spouse at the way he talked to and treated me. 
     [redacted] went back to Taylor Auto with the old part that was supposed to be the new one and to try to reason with him and to resolve this conflict and he was cursed at and told to get off the property. That is when I needed to make the decision to file a complaint. Attached is the invoice from Alvin Romulo, a certified master mechanic of foreign autos..... as well as being a trusted associate of mine.
    
      I can retrieve the text messages between Alvin and [redacted] in which Alvin explained to him about the fact that my car has only ONE Serpentine belt. (Taylor Auto charged me for 3 new belts) and Alvin told [redacted] there is no way that the idler pulley was new... there was too much wear on it for it to be new. (Again [redacted] Auto charged me for a new part and labor for replacement). I still have the old idler pulley and can provide a picture of the old part if needed....

Review: I took my car in for repairs, paid for the repairs, and later found that the "new" idler pulley that I paid for and paid to have installed, was not new. On top of that the 3 new belts that were installed were the wrong belts. It was supposed to be one serpentine belt. Pllus when I initially brought the car in, the owner gave me such a head time, he yelled at me and was very rude, I left the shop in tears.Desired Settlement: I desire a full refund, since I had to go to a different mechanic and pay $350.00 to replace the idler pulley and belt. And an apology for how I was treated....
