To Whom It May Concern at Revdex.com, I do not accept the business response as a resolution to my complaint Smiles by Delivery provided a timeline of information to Revdex.com that omitted and falsely communicated information regarding my mother's interaction, *** staff interaction, and my
interaction (POA) with the company at the time they fitted my mothers dentures and the months following the Smiles by Delivery fitting Smiles by Delivery embellished the notes they provided Revdex.com in an attempt to cover their negligence in responding to my requests (and the requests of *** staff) to fix the dentures so my mother could chew and eat To date, my mother has NEVER WORN THE DENTURES MADE BY SMILES BY DELIVERY, period To have a company state that they asked the patient and she (***, my mom) said they fit fine, basing the success of the denture fitting on a senior with advanced dementia, is completely and utterly irresponsible Their failure to identify the fact that there was a problem with the dentures after *** staff and ***'s family clearly witnessed she could not wear the dentures, is completely alien to me and shows lack of care, concern, and follow through by Smiles by Delivery.Smiles by Delivery claims in their response that I returned a call after they made a call for a follow up appointment for my mother in July They failed to mention in the notes that SBD was told by me that I did not want them to see my mother because they never followed up on properly fixing or replacing the dentures my mother did not wear I clearly stated to them that they were not to see my mother moving forward unless they properly fixed the issue Also, at this time I had been communicating with another dental office (the dentist that made my mother's original dentures), to see if he could visit my mom at *** as a favor to me and correct the issue The notes also communicate that I never received a follow up call from Smiles by Delivery regarding my concerns Instead it appears they made a follow up appointment on their own to see my mother in August to clean dentures that she was not wearing They provided dates for recorded messages that I did not receive The 3/16/follow up visit notes by SBD conveniently did not state WHY they were following up with my mom to make adjustments It was because I called the company many times to fix or replace the dentures my mom was NOT wearing *** memory care staff told me they had referred this company (SBD) to *** family before and this was by far the worst case of ill-fitting dentures they had ever seen I am currently waiting on signed letters from *** staff that had interaction with Smiles by Delivery regarding this issue *** staff informed me they were very frustrated with Smiles by Delivery because *** wasn't wearing the dentures and eatingThe day of the alleged follow up appointment by Smiles by Delivery I left work to make the appointment and talk to Smiles by Delivery staff The *** staff "ran down" the doctor on the elevator after I arrived because the doctor and his female assistant left quickly after examining my mom, making the alleged adjustments that "fixed" the issue When the Smiles by Delivery staff came up the elevator, I informed the doctor that it was obvious the dentures did not fit and looked too bigThey responded that I had to call the office if I wanted to make cosmetic adjustments I informed him this was not a just a cosmetic issue, she wasn't wearing the dentures at all The doctor brushed me off, telling me to call the office Never did they inform me that "multiple appointments are made to approve the fit" When were these multiple appointments made? According to Smiles by Delivery notes, only ONE appointment was made after the initial January 13th appointment The February 15th fitting never happened because the doctor was running late The only other appointment was on February 17th The Smiles by Delivery doctor and female assistant were vague in how they were going to follow up on how the dentures were not comfortable for my mother, looked too big for her mouth, and that she did not wear. If you notice, Smiles by Delivery never mentioned in their notes that they followed up with me to make sure the issue was resolvedI have had the opportunity to interact with many companies in Arizona in my years of residency as a home owner here in Arizona and this company's follow through and lack of care is the worst I have encountered and borders on senior abuse Again, the only resolution to my complaint is a complete refund of the $for the dentures my mother never wore and the company failed to follow through to fix, and $for the alleged follow up visits to clean my mother's dentures that she never wore
