Con Artist & Fraud ring
1. Not a fake review!

2. Respect is earned, when you conceal material facts you do not earn respect, so please stop demanding it from people when they post a honest review about your character.

3. You should be ashamed of yourself knowingly placing people in harms way by selling defective and faulty vehicles and that your mechanics bandaid the problem(s), just so your victims can drive it off your lot, yet you are aware of these “bandaids”, but do not disclose them to your victims.

4. You lie about material facts that consumers rely on and the conditions of vehicle you sell and you fail to disclose information to your victims. Demand deposits prior to test driving.

5. You have mechanics at your facility and you are fully aware of the conditions of the vehicles you purchased to sell. You post it all over social media that you purchase vehicles “that need work” but your advertisements for the same vehicle(s) read when selling it reads “nothing horrible” is wrong with a vehicle.

6. Cutting corners is an understatement and you announce this on your website, “We also try to "squeeze" quick jobs in for people in a rush where many of our competitors simply tell you they can't do it.” Operative word here is “quick jobs”, again your bandaids for material defects.

7. Your definition of “great vehicle for the money”, is a very demented perspective of what a consumer really believes to be a great vehicle. A “great vehicle” is one that contains ALL essential parts for operation, which includes 95% of the “petty items” your victims have left reviews about, in which you blame your victims for your inept and fraudulent practice. Then you blame them for purchasing “a couple thousand dollar vehicle”, and you “get tired of people complaining”.

8. One may ask why so many different “dba” names? Are you trying to mask the truth by baiting and switching names?

PSA ~ for your victims that don’t know how to obtain public information.

Disrespectful Unprofessional
Very rude and unprofessional is an understatement. Was told we could take the car that day and they would get back to us to fix the gas gage and key fob. Never heard from them until my husband called, he was immediately called a lier, cussed out, hung up on and number blocked. I tried to call myself thinking maybe things just got a little too heated and I was immediately cussed out and hung up on. I’m in shock at how this place is still up and running. This man is obviously mentally unstable and needs to seek professional care with medication. I’ll pray for you sir.

I would encourage you to file a complaint with the FTC, Secretary of State of Illinois, Attorney General, City of Creve Coeur (attend board meetings, sign up for public comments), Tazewell County States Attorney, Tazewell County Board (attend board meetings, sign up for public comments) and persistence will pay off! Justice will be served! Depending on how you paid for the vehicle, I would encourage you to dispute the charges. Not a fun process by any means, but he is guilty of consumer fraud! #tazewellcountyboard #smalltownconsumerfraud #davidnormam @ILAttyGeneral #ilattygeneral #ftc #ftccomplaint @KwameRaoul #KwameRaoul

Agree!

Damaged majority of my property. Ignoring damage claim. aka EP MOVERS, Peoria Motors & Movers, Maverick Motors LLC. Sent certified mail to owner Dave Norman including damage pics. Still no response. He wanted cash for the move, no paperwork was given to me so I only have checks I paid him $500.
Damaged 98% of my property & I hope by posting this others can avoid damage to their property.

Please report this to the Illinois Attorney General! You are a victim of David Norman, you need justice!

So went there and bought a vehical. drove it off the lot and it started having issues then I told the owner I wanted my money back and he refuses. they are selling junk vehicals.

This is a 2nd message in regards to the same complaint. Her statements are not accurate. We do not sell junk vehicles and that is borderline a libelous statement that I can sue her in civil court for--its slanderous, defamatory and libelous. My response to her complaint needs no amendments from my original statement.

Same thing happened to me. He threatened me. He knows what he is doing and it is fraud! Tells you that “that’s what you get for buying a cheap vehicle”. As if we are lucky he took advantage of us, for being his victim. The vehicles are not safe to operate according to the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration). He probably purchased them “for parts”, then sells them and fails to disclose the material defects, unethical, unsafe to operate and dangerous when the vehicle is compromised.

Bought a car from him while my boyfriend was working for him. My boyfriend quit shortly after buying the car on a payments. Shortly after he quit, David at East Peoria Motors started to harass us beginning of the payment week with texts. Sometimes as soon as Wednesday when the payment isn't due until Friday. This has been going on for sometime now. Since I didn't pay the car off in the Spring like I planned, David at East Peoria Motors has been harassing us even more and now threatening us via texting as well as phone calls. He has stated because I didn't pay the car off 6 months early that I don't have the money to continue paying so he now wants the car back. Recently he has started to refuse payments because they are not in cash and is demanding that we not step foot on his lot at this point. He has also used my towing company and refused to pay the tow bill. Due to the constant harassment from East Peoria Motors and his lack of business ethic I will no longer be using East Peoria Motors and I will make sure everyone I know will never go their as well. He is a con artist as well as a scam artist be sure to have a real mechanic look at your vehicles before you ever purchase one from him.

Oh boy this is going to be fun! Stacy, as the spouse of Stephen K, a worthless ex-employee that is apparently allergic to the shower, I find it absolutely joyful that you have written this ludicrous and lie-filled review! Let's get our facts straight out of the gate shall we? First, Stephen wasn't working here when I personally financed that vehicle for you. He came in crawling on his hands and knees like a dog crying about you guys having 5 kids (or however many it is), that you were only getting part-time hours at the vet and that he had no money to get a vehicle that would transport all of you. So, me being a big-hearted guy, hooked you up with a very nice vehicle and let you finance it. I was promised at tax time you would pay it off--that came and went and who knows what you white-trash losers did with your tax money but you still owe me money on the car and I haven't seen a dime so thanks for that! As for who is harassing who, I'm the one that had to insist Stephen not come onto the property after he threatened me and has caused problems with my employees. I can post a copy of the letter I filed if you like? (I wouldn't think you would want me to as it's even more embarrassing for you guys.) The vehicle you have is still running very well so how am I a con artist or a scam artist? I GAVE you a vehicle when you needed one and you are late getting it paid off BUT I'M THE CON GUY HUH? How? Can you even explain it a little bit so I understand? I do NOT want the car back, I just want what you owe me. I haven't added even one dollar in late fees or any other fees so pay it off and get out of my life and my business. Oh and your tow business? You call B towing a tow business? It's one mn with a crappy little truck that barely runs pretending to know how to run a business and lying to people. I tried to throw business your way because by doing that, in essence, I am helping to pay myself back the money you owe and your ignoramus clown-shoes of a "husband" (husband is in quote because I don't even think you are married) can't even do that right either! You guys are a joke, your review is absurd and comical and you disgust me. You are failures in life, failures as parents for sure and you have no shot at ever running a successful business. Pay off your car or I'm happy to come take it.

Agree! He is a con artist! If you are an ex employee, please be sure to report the unethical practices! Peoples lives rely on you reporting him. So many victims, please come forward and report him.

I have had excellent moving service with East Peoria Movers; however Mr. ***’s refusal to refund me and his unprofessional remarks has earned this complaint. I have tried to resolve the issue through ***.com, a U-haul affiliate; they are a booking and payment center for multiple moving companies. I originally booked three hours, however the workers were onsite for 1.8 hours and stated that I would receive a reimbursement for the extra hour. *** processed the payment. I called Mr. who stated that he is not responsible for reimbursement and wished me good luck as he has never heard of them giving a reimbursement. After contacting ***, they said they paid Mr. and are only a coordinating agency. I rated East Peoria Movers 4 out of 5 because of this refusal of reimbursement. Mr. unprofessionally responded and commented “you ungrateful jerk.” [He also stated in a rating by Sue B. on 8/5/2017 “F U” for her rating him 1 out of 5.] Mr. and I corresponded through the *** website, Case ***; he continually attacked me as a person and eventually agreed that I should get a reimbursement, but that he would not release funds and expected *** to do so. He only agreed with a ½ hour reimbursement. I have a copy of all correspondence and, if you would like, will send them to you.
