I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below

is a follow up to the "resolution" of my complaint against Scott Hughes and Harrisonburg Shoe Repair Monday morning, 4/25/16, I entered the shoe repair shop, with police escourt MrHughes promptly handed over my "altered" western boots to me, as sweet as *** *** in wolves clothing "Just as [he] promised," he said to impress the officer First, I am extatic that I, finally, have my boots back, over a month later and two hour round trip attempts to try and retrieve them, wild goose chases, and an endless stream of excuses Second, I paid for stacked leather heels, but got some kind of synthetic substitute The inferior craftsmanship on the heels leaves a lot to be desired There are black marks on the foot of the boots Heel taps that I paid for were not put on And, my brand new orthotics were taken out and not reinserted I have not tried them on yet, but I can just imagine, as the toes of the boots now stick up in the air He had assured me he would not make the heel so low that this would occur Needless to say, I will never patronize his establishment, ever again And, I do not understand why he's allowed to say in business.Thank you for your help, in resolving this matter And, hats off to my silent partner, the officer I am certain that I would not have my boots, today, if it hadn't been for his presence and our united efforts
