We recently purchased a new construction home built by TB homes The place is absolutely beautiful, but the workmanship is just lazyThere was an overall 75% effort done on the house entirely- paint, stairs, door hinges, cabinets, kitchen drawers, appliance installation- litterally EVERYTHINGDuring our final walk through, the contractor was aruging with us about fixing things and telling us they were not a big deal or that nothing was wrong with them One example was that our showerhead faucets did not have an end point, so you had to carefully line it up perfectly straight to get the water to stopOtherwise, it would drip all dayThe contractor argued that the water still turned off so there was nothing to fixAnother large issue was outdoor water drainageThey forgot to install the drain system in the backyard so our back porch flooded with every rain fall with water reaching up to our back door We also purchased the lot with no trees and had planned to do our own landscapingDuring the final walkthrough, we discovered they placed an oak tree in the middle of our backyardWe understand the city of Tampa mandated the tree, but we were extremely appalled that they did not ask us where we would prefer to have the tree placed We have to pay extra to get the tree moved on our ownFrom missing grout, faulty light switches, faulty circuitsto unscrewed door hinges, to forgetting the water heater adjuster, to cracked boards on the outside of the home, and scuffed up doors that they refused to replahave a terrible impression of TB homesWe felt used, taken advantage of, and not cared forThe customer service is horrendous and we avoid contacting TB homes as much as possibleThey are lazy and ungrateful for your businessYou have to move mountains to get them to fix anything that is their responsibilityWe will never purchase through TB homes again and I would never wish this experience upon anyone else

And to confirm the high quality of work, we have had two realatives in the home building business comment on how well our TB home is builtBuilt well, beautiful upgrades and the TB team/customer service cant be better! Not only are we very pleased, our friends saw our home and bought the TB home next door! Spreading the word! Buy them quick- they sell fast!
I had a positive experience with TB HomesOur house was constructed well and was finished days ahead of schedule.We had several follow up service request because our superintendent was replaced towards the end of home constructionTB went above and beyond to ensure that our experience remained positive during the superintendent transition and that all follow up items were closed outNot only do our guest compliment our home but when we sold our TB home nearly months later, the buyer's home inspector gave it rave reviewsWe even sold our house for over $100k more than our purchase price in that short time I have recommended TB to several friends and will use them again if I were to move back to the Tampa Bay area
