Review: [redacted] started construction work on my apartment in a building I owned. He took many shortcuts, sloppy work and unfinished rooms that were not up to building codes. I had to fire [redacted] got another contractor to get an estimate how much it was going to cost to correct [redacted] sloppy work and was going to be an additional $11,000.00. I called him to give me back the monies that was not used and he avoided me at all cost.I handed over $51,000.00 to [redacted] and he was using the monies for other things. Lesson learned really check out your contractor. Ask to see as many jobs that are being done with walls open ,sheet rock covers many sins. You should take pictures of everything while you on their jobs. Show or share their works with others over the internet and people in the trades. Get as many references,over 10. Beware of the internet can paint a pretty picture of someone but we all have friends with multiple email address and give a person great reviews and find out it was a bunch of lies.Desired Settlement: I would like back $41,000. You may have a hard time getting monies from [redacted] he hides monies and homes through other people in his family.
