And there it's no surprise a dishonest company and with dishonest people would say I never called the office. I will begin to work with www.cabq.gov to resolve the issue.

From Chuck S[redacted], CEOI have reviewed the tenants comments, and researched the issue. what I found is that the tenant moved into the apartment 11/15/17 from the veterans affairs, with the help of the property manager at the time Robert C[redacted]. Robert left our employment December 18th, so if this...

tenant was calling Robert he would not reached him. All tenant are instructed to call the general number, which is on his lease, building sign, or at the office location to report issues with the apartment. we maintain a call log and have no evidence of calls. Sharon posted all the units in the complex **, on January 2, 2018 to inform the tenants that she had taken over the property management, and to contact her, this was not done. We also walked the entire property on the 15th of January and entered the units to ascertain their condition. We were not allowed to enter as the tenant had changed the locks. After reading the complaint I ordered our election to look at the lighting issue in the apartment. When the tenant moved into the unit lights in the kitchen were on a track lighting rail and were functional. The tech found the lights had been removed from the track, so we had to replace the lighting in the kitchen. All units are checked for new batteries in the smoke detectors, and 5lb fire extinguishers in all units by fire code. We looked into the batteries and replaced them on this last visit to ensure they were functioning. We help many veterans, and they move into our Gibson units to be close the the VA hospital, for mental health, and physical support. If this tenant needs to vacate we are more than glad to have him leave our complex, as we have a waiting list. We have been renovating this complex one unit at a time at a cost of $8-9,000 per unit over the past 3 three years as units become vacant. we do care about our tenants, their health, and their ability to function in society. We house over 200 vets from multiple agencies. these vets come from living under bridges to the VIC with vouchers. We have provided a clean environment to this individual and again if he is unhappy he may leave and hopefully find better accommodations, just not with us..

I'm living in a bad situation and my daughter [redacted] is helping me to get out of it. A friend told me about T & C Management so I told my daughter about it. I made an appointment to go see an apartment on 5/3/2014 which was on a saturday. Me and my daughter both saw the apartment and liked it very much for myself. We had met [redacted] who works for T & C Management who seemed very nice and caring. My daughter told [redacted] about my situation that I'm fully disabled and she wants to find a place for me so I am safe and [redacted] understood my situation and my backgroud history of not being able to get another apartment under my name. My daughter told [redacted] that she will be the one to co-sign for me since I was unable to do so due to my rental history. [redacted] said there was no problem and my daughter didn't have to co-sign for me and that I could do it on my own and she will make sure of that and that I was already approved considering my living situation of being in a domestic household and [redacted] said she can relate because she was in one too. [redacted] called the T & C Management office to verify the deposit and rent since it was a special going on and stated that it was $399 and $45 for the application fee. My daughter asked [redacted] are you sure she can qualify because she will cosign for me. [redacted] stated yes that I was already approved and will move in Monday the 5th. [redacted] said don't let the girls in the front do your application because they will deny it and she will do it for me to get me in. Me and my daughter believed [redacted] in good faith. Monday I called to validate when I can move in and she was out sick. I called Tuesday the 6th and spoke to [redacted] who stated that my application was denied because my background came back as a sex offender in Texas. I let [redacted] know that it must be a mistake and I've never lived in Texas before. [redacted] gave me the site address of [redacted] where my daughter and I went to and searched for my name which it came up but the picture looked nothing like me and neither was the information provided such as the date of birth, height, weight. I told [redacted] that was a huge mistake and clearly they can see it wasn't me. [redacted] stated I needed to get cleared and then go back. I called my daughter to let her know the situation and she called to speak to [redacted] and to the Manager [redacted] where [redacted] told my daughter it was because of my felony (which I stated everything to [redacted] in person before doing my application which again she informed me it didn't matter that's why she was going to do my application) and my daughter told her everything that [redacted] told us. [redacted] stated to have me call her which I did and put me on speaker phone and [redacted] then denied ever saying anything like that to me and my daughter. I think it's wrongful doing to customers on their part to get their hopes up on getting a place and the property knowing of my situation. I asked for my deposit back and the application fee back. [redacted] stated she will have the money for the deposit ready when it's ready in her own words and I'm not getting the application fee back. I believe I should get the deposit back as well as the application fee considering what I was told and I believed it in good faith and it was wrongful doing on their part knowing I could not get an apartment for myself and knowing that's why my daughter was with me to co-sign for me. It's not the way to run a successful business lying to customers to make a dollar knowing that about my background and not wanting to refund my money I paid in a timely matter so I can look for a place elsewhere. Please help me in my situation. I also asked to speak the owner and [redacted] said I could not speak to him and I could speak to her.
