We were called to make repairs to the customers machineThe person who placed the call was ***I told *** prior to us going to the location the repairs are *** and what the charges would be for the tech to come to his location to check over the machineThe cost would be $and he authorized for the tech to come to locationWhen our tech arrived at location 4/16/he found the control board had shorted out which is why the machine was not workingA person name *** authorized to have the machine removed to our shop for repairI ordered the partI then received a call from a person named *** asking about the machineI explained we are waiting for the partThis call was on 4/20/I then received a call from *** from the location asking the same questionThis was on 4/23/*** also stated if you do not have the part to fix the machine he found a person (***) who has the partsI told *** I would call our supplier to find out where the part isI called *** back and told him the *** said the part should be at our location 4/25/He said to please fix right awayAfter installing the control board we found the left brew group had a jammed up motorI called location and told him the cost to repairHe said do not repair this machine and we will pick up the machine but will not pay us for our time taking apart the machine, installing the board then to take it back outI told him if he wants his machine back it will be a total of $I then started receiving numerous calls regarding thisI stated you want your machine back you have to pay for our servicesAfter all the phone calls I then said it would need to be cash only because of these phone calls some saying they will pay by check and other calls they will not payI was told by *** another person at the location that he was coming to get the machineI told him that was fine but we would need the $in cash4/27/Monday a person showed up and wants to pick up the machineHe never stated his name at this timeI said payment would need to be madeI did then tell him to leave my place of businessHe said he would get the police involved*** returned with police officer and she stated this is a civil matter and take it to courtThe police officer is the one to tell me his name which was ***I then spoke to *** who they had told me had parts and he is the person who sold them the machineHe said first they did not take the correct protocol to have this machine repaired and also explained he told the customer this alsoThey were to call him for service not an outside service stationI then stated I would take monies off the charges and the amount would be $but would need to be cashWe tried to accommodate and repair this unit for the customerI had no idea what the protocol he was to take to have it repairedWe spent plenty of time in our shop testing and installing a part to get the machine working to find another issueI believe if the correct protocol was taken and all the employees talked to each other on what was going on- ***, ***, *** and *** and talked to each other this issue could have been resolved at the beginning

Customer called for service on his *** machineTechnician found NO functions to this machine and the control board had failed told customer ***Removed machine to shop for this repairAfter checking over machine it was determined that control board would need to be orderedTold by
customer to order the partsCustomers at the location called several times on when the machine would be repairedWe explained we are waiting for the part and will call them and we cannot control when the parts will arrive from the mfgCustomer called again and we just received the part inAfter installing the control board we found the motor on one of the group heads was not workingThis we would not know as the machine was completely dead without a working control boardCalled the customer and explained the problemThey stated they wanted the machine backTold the customer there is a charge for our incurred charges of $After several phone calls it was told to the customer they only way to get your machine was to pay for our services already provided and in cash only because of the several phone calls coming in from various people at the location and the conversations regarding this machine, ***, ***, ***I believe it was *** who called and stated they would not pay cast was again explained that we will only take cashAt this point not sure if taking a check or credit card would be a smart thing to do as stop payments could be madeCustomer stated they are coming to pick up the machine without payment and bringing the policeCustomer showed up at our location Monday 4/27/in the AM> Owner told he would need to pay for the servicesAfter a bit of argument the customer was asked to leave our businessHe returned with a police officerShe stated this was a civil matterShe looked over the invoice. After several more phone calls we deducted $off the bill just to get this matter taken care of and the machine back to the customer...not repaired

*** of TC Repair is further deviating from his story to conceal the fact that he was trying to charge for repairs he wasn't authorized to makeHe states so in his own invoice and has reviews that give similar complaints against himTwo *** users state similar experiences with TC Repair's lack of transparency, unscrupulous practices and poor customer serviceItems are brought to the repair shop and then people are quoted much higher costs once the work is begun or completedThe *** reviews in question can be found here http://www.*** *** *** ** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** For the record I have always made myself known and announced when I've approachedWhen I entered the business I stated, "Hi, I am *** from the *** *** " That was as far as I got in speaking before I was cut off and asked if I had $cashI was also told to "get the hell out of my store", never to leaveThe manner in which we have been treated and bilked is totally unacceptable by any business or human being.

When the initial call was placed one of the brew heads was working- only was was not functioning and the milk frothing head was hardly functioningThey were paid for their services that day and were taking the machine back to the shop to assess the issue which we agreed to. Once they had the machine there were multiple calls over the week to determine the status of the machineWhen asked about the machine they told us it needed a new motherboardWe wanted to know how much it would cost and when we found out we declined the workThe owner became upset first stating that it had been ordered, then it was being shipped and finally that he had already installed the partWe had never received the quote for the work prior and the work was done with out clear consentThe owner insisted on charging us for labor on work we did not want done in the first place and then refused to return the machineDue to the hostile nature in which we were being handled the police were called to intervene in the situation. In his own invoice to us which I have attached he clearly states that when he finally returned to us with the price for the parts and labor the work was refusedHe then held our machine until we were forced to pay him in cash to return to usThere should not be a change for work than when a price was quoted was declinedWe would like that money back along with what business was lost during the time which he held our machine as we had no replacement or loaner machine
