I found a property on their website that seemed perfect and was offered at reasonable rentBecause of the rental market in Sacramento, I immediately applied (as I have done with other properties before)Within minutes, I received a message from the leasing agent and they disclosed that there was a recent death on the propertyI let them know immediately (within minutes of receiving the email) that I would like to withdraw my application due to the information and had they provided that disclosure on their website, I would have never appliedTwelve hours later, I received a response indicating that they will not be refunding my application fee ($90- $per applicant) even though they had withheld information until my application was already received and I had withdrawn my application only minutes after submitting it at pm (so the processing service was more than likely not in operation hours)
I had a new home I allowed KTB and *** *** to manage Every time I got my rent check over the years that I had a tenant there, if the rent check was short, seeing the check was my only notice He never contacts you to tell you of any reason that he will be sending you a lesser amount You have to get the check and then call or email him Just recently my check was approx$shorter, I emailed and he called me (he always calls even when I have asked multiple times that he email me, he wants nothing in writing), and told me the check was less because my tenant had given days notice This was on March 12th that I had to email him I asked him multiple times to tell me when the tenant gave her notice, took me times to finally get the document and it was dated Feb16th The way he conducted business did not allow me any notice to prepare for the approx$less in funds that I would have that month and was extremely unprofessional He should not be allowed to conduct
On Monday, November 12, I emailed KTB Property Management about viewing the property at ** *** *** in SacramentoI sent this inquiry at approximately 9:amI did not hear back from KTBI proceeded to submit an application, along with the $application fee at 10:am on the same dayI received an email from KTB at 6:pm on the same day (November 12, 2018) saying, "Hello and thank you for your interest in our property at ** *** in Sacramento This property has an approved application and no additional showings are available Please feel free to check our website for other properties that may suit your needs." I replied to this email at 6:pm stating, "Thanks!
