To whom it may concern, *** did purchase her Jeep Liberty V.I.N# *** on 8/16/with 78,miles on it. At that time she purchased a month 24,mile warranty. That warranty will expire on 8/16/or 102,miles whichever comes first. On 2/17/
with 91,miles she brought the vehicle in for the following concerns 1. Customer states air bag light goes on and off when hitting bumps (could not duplicate)2. Customer state rpm and speedo gauge dims and flickers (could not be duplicate, advised to contact if it happens again)3. Customer state exhaust seems to drip water from middle of jeep (found condensation exiting the muffler, condensation exit)4. Customer state driver side floor vent is cold air all times.(found no air on the floor, may need re flash or check for recall, we advised bringing it to a Jeep dealership)5. Customer state smells coolant at times from engine area( found old dried coolant by water pump and thermostat cleaned off and treated , advised to return if smell continues)6. Customer state when 4xin in gauged turning left it chugs and skips/right turn is ok(Chugs in both directions which is for 4xon dry pavementAdvised to not engage 4xon dry pavement)No charge to the customerOn 3/31/with 94,miles she returned with the following concerns,1. Vehicle overheated(verified concern pressure tested and found water pump and thermostat housing leaking, replace both) No Charge to customer0n 6/with miles1. Customer states check engine light on ( found evap leak sublet to Jeep dealer)Not covered under warranty customer pay $106.92On 7/26/with she returned with the following concerns1. Customer state vehicle towed in, engine is making noises (started vehicle observed knocking noise form engine compartmentCalled in an insurance adjuster came from Warranty Company and was they were unable to duplicate problemOil is full and clean, road tested for miles observed air conditioning inoperative, found air compressor had failedReplaced ac compressor, evacuate and recharge system. No charge to customerUnfortunately when you purchase a vehicle with 78,and drive over 23,miles on it in less than a year there are going to be things that need repair, as with any other vehicle with miles over 100,000. Every concern has been addressed and fixed. She can certainly trade the vehicle in toward a nicer newer vehicleAt this time we can appraise her vehicle and give her a trade figure, but we cannot do a refund or exchange as it has been almost a year and has been driven 23,miles.Thank You

Mrs*** did come in looking for a specific vehicle Unfortunately we can’t stock the over model
combination General Motors offers. In
cases where someone is looking a certain model we don’t have in our inventory
we have to rely on General Motors dealer network. We try
and find a dealer that has a vehicle
that fits the customer wants and needs.
In curtain cases it can take days and even weeks to find that vehicle,
as some vehicles show in inventory that have not yet arrived from the factory. This happens because once the vehicle has
left the factory it is assigned to the purchasing dealer and we have to work
around the dealers schedule and vehicle trade policies.
Please see the
attached vehicle equipment list that is V.I.N specific to Mrs***’s vehicle. As you will see every option Mrs***
listed as her “must haves” the car is clearly equipped with I truly don’t understand the reason for this
complaint other than it took longer to get the vehicle she wantedUnfortunately
locating a $30,vehicle can take time.
I have also attached the vehicle
invoice witch also shows the optional equipment for the vehicle, also V.I.N
specific
Thank You
***

Mrs*** vehicle has been in for some issues. The vehicle is a Suzuki SX4, unfortunately the repairs codes given from the vehicle can only be fixed at a Suzuki deal. As you will see in the documentation included we have sent this vehicle to a Suzuki
dealer. We have provided Mrs*** with a loan vehicle each and every time her vehicle has been in for service. Mrs*** is correct her vehicle did run out of NYS used vehicle warranty, but she does have an extended service contract through the Credit Acceptance Corporation program that is covering the repairs needed. At this current time her vehicle is back from the Suzuki dealer and waiting for Mrs*** to return our call to either have her pick it up or for us to deliver. Mrs*** has a current loan contract with Credit Acceptance Corporation on her vehicleWe can work with Mrs*** to try and trade her vehicle in toward something newer

To whom it may Concern: *** *** *** *** did purchase and take ownership of their Lincoln MKX with 82,miles on 10/24/2015. At that time *** and *** were offered a warranty and opted to not take the warranty offered to her(Please see
attached). *** and *** did receive the New York State Lemon law warranty(Please see attached). Any recall notices received from Lincoln would have to be handled at a Lincoln dealership and should be no charge We can certainly schedule an appointment with our service department to repair the vehicle. All repairs would be on a customer pay basis as there is no warranty on the vehicle With the documentations included with this responseYou will see the accusations that we have not honored ***’s and ***’s warranty are as they declined the warranty offered, and opted for the New York State Lemon Law warranty of days or miles. If there is any more information needed please let me know Thank You George *** General Manger James Chevrolet of Jamestown LLC ***

We will order a key and call when it arrives.

To whom it may concern;      In response to [redacted] complaint. Please see the complete Carfax on the 2011 Chevrolet Malibu V.I.N [redacted].  As you will see in the box with date 8/15/2014 “Structural damage may impact vehicle safety and reliability.” ...

As you will see from the Carfax report and the New York State inspection this vehicle is neither unsafe nor unreliable. I have also included the quote form the box dated 9/3/2015.  “Vehicles registered in New York are required to have a safety and emissions inspection every 12 months. Both inspections are also required when the ownership of a vehicle is transferred. New York car dealers must have the vehicle inspected no more than 30 days before the vehicle is delivered to the buyer. Some vehicles are exempt from emissions inspections. A New York inspection checks the following components: Seat beltsBrakesParking BrakeSteering, Front End, Suspension, Chassis, Frame, Wheel FastenersTires (except spare)Lights: Headlights/Tail lamps/Stop lamps/Directional signals/Backup lights/License plate lights/Hazard warning/four-way flashers/Directional signal indicator/Windshield and other glass/Windshield wipers and bladesHornMirrorsEmission test Click here for more details about New York safety and emissions inspections.”         As you will see on the document titled Vehicle Highlights, please note the boxes on the left side Labeled STATE DMV-REPORTED TITLE PROBLES and ACCIDENTS AND OTHER ISSUES.  As you will see this vehicle had no airbag deployment and was not deemed salvage, junk, rebuilt, fire, flood, hail or lemon.  I have also included the Carfax Buyback Guarantee.      As a new vehicle dealer in NY we have standards and inspections we are required to follow and preform before we sell a vehicle.  This vehicle passed all necessary inspections and deemed a safe and reliable vehicle.  As the Carfax indicates, with there being only two minor repairs. One being a two wheel alignment and the other a light bulb since Mrs. [redacted] has taken ownership. Mrs. [redacted] did visit the dealership about this issue and was explained we are not affiliated with Carfax and are not a Carfax dealership, as to why she was not given this report. Mrs. [redacted] explained that the BMW dealership she was at would not take her car in on trade.      At this time we would offer to take Mrs. [redacted]’s vehicle in on trade as it has been a very reliable vehicle. If I can help any further please let me know. Thank You George [redacted] General Manger, James Chevrolet of Johnstown LLC Note: Although we are not a Carfax dealer. We did pay for this Carfax report  to use for this complaint.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I am not willing to go through their business again, they allowed me to purchase a car that clearly indicated it had frame damage. They may have had it inspected to their standards but I would have never of purchased a vehicle under this condition, they MAY not be affiliated with carfax but it states that the seller made the buyer fully aware. So when I spoke to the manager he had lied about not knowing, the damage was never listed on my contract, which legally it HAS to be! They can have the car back and do what they would like with it, they will pay off the loan. They want me to go through their dealership again so they don't lose money and try to roll over money into another vehicle, I do not feel safe or have any trust in this business. Not only did they sell a vehicle that has indicated it could not be reliable but they sold a vehicle knowing it was worth very little.Regards,[redacted]

The business has contacted me and resolved the issue

Thank You
[redacted]      As stayed pervious,
the vehicle is equipped with key less entry.
The model Mrs. [redacted] requested unfortunately has no option for what she
calls keyless entry nor can it be installed.
Different manufactures don’t always offer the same options as
others.  Please see the attached
equipment list. Mrs. [redacted] did receive everything she requested.  Mrs. [redacted] can call the service department
about the rings on the windshield.  If we
cannot remove them we can have the windshield replaced.  Unfortunately if she doesn’t trust us to
touch her car, then we can’t help her.

5.12.15 Drove my car to work and realized when I went to shut it off that it was not the button start.
5.15.15 Went to dealership, he was at another dealership for a few days. Called and left a message on his cell. No return call.
5.19 Called [redacted] and explained about the "what they were calling a Keyless entry" and that I was clear that I wanted a button start like I had on the Nissan. He said he would talk to his GM and call me back later that day. No Call
5.20.15 No Call
5.21.15 Call [redacted] again, went to voice mail
3:00 Spoke with [redacted], said he had a meeting with his GM [redacted] tomorrow and was going to call me "either way" to let me know what they could do by 6pm tonight. Again No Call
5.22.15 Called [redacted] went to vmail. Left msg that I was going to complain to James Chevy and to the Revdex.com.
5.23.15 Filed complaint
9:ll am [redacted] called going to check with service to see if one can be installed. We spoke about what he was calling a keyless entry, meaning remote access and I explain as I did when I made the deal that the fob would have been all I need to start the car or to unlock the door. I called it a push button start (NO KEY NEEDED)..he called it a keyless entry so I figured that's what it was called. He said he would call today and let me know for sure if I could get what I am paying for.
Still no call from him or anyone else at James Chevy.
I at no time spoke to [redacted].
I also complained to [redacted] the day I took the car that there were these marks in the glass on the sunroof and on the windshield. He said he could remove them. I told him I would try first. I have washed the car three times, used every thing I could think of and my brand new car has a windshield full of little white stuff all over it. Nothing has been done about that either and at this point I am not sure if I would trust them to touch the car.
