This is the worst, most irresponsible shipping company I have ever dealt with---And I've dealt with many On top of taking over a year (yes, a year) to ship my belongings from Brazil to NY, I received incorrect boxes and was missing a number of my own personal items (some of which were sculptures and quite valuable) I called and returned the incorrect boxes, but never received my goods I have an endless number of e mails going back and forth with TCM Global Relocations (Thiago) where I was promised he would take care of the matter That never happened, they shut down their offices in Manhattan and disappearedStay away from them if you value your items and hope to ever see them again

I engaged Insul-Twin to replace the windows and siding on my entire house. The company admitted to "completely dropping the ball" on this job. Communication was poor in that I needed to chase them down to get schedule updates. When I finally did connect with them, they informed me of a significant delay of schedule (8-10 weeks vs. the original 4 weeks commitment when I signed the contract). I had no choice but to cancel the job as winter is approaching and I don't want my house exposed to the elements during the wet season. They did give me my deposit back when requested. I now have to go through the hassle of another bid process for the job. I would not recommend them.

Review: On July [redacted], we entered into an agreement with TCM Global Relocation to ship our personal household belongings to Brazil and was issued an invoice at that time. We were told it would take from 3-6 months for the process to be completed. The process has now spanned 11 months without delivery of our belongings. We were informed in advance that we would be responsible for any port storage fees, and demurrage on the container. We were NOT informed on the costs of either of these. Once the container arrived in Rio de Janerio, a change in government regulations caused initial delays, followed by a port workers strike and inability of TCM Global to make timely arrangements for the delivery of our belongings. The changes in regulation were not anticipated by the company and the resulting inability to adjust procedures caused excessive delays in securing the shipment. Since the arrival of the container in Rio de Janerio, we have also been billed additional times by the shipping company for items we thought had been part of the original contract. All payments were expected to be made, in full, before any progress would be attempted by the company to secure our belongings. Examples of additional billed items include state-side storage, insurance (that had been "forgotten" on the original invoice), and custom brokerage fees. Additionally, our account has been transferred between three different service representatives through the duration of the process, further delaying progress since the new representative was not aware of previous difficulties and our personal situation. Most recently, we have informed that we are responsible for the entire cost of the container demurrage, which has grown excessively large due to all the delays.Desired Settlement: At this point, I would like TCM Global to absorb the entirety of the demurrage costs due to the excessive delays and inability to conduct our business in a reasonable and timely manner.
