[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]This company never did the job they were hired to do as they were hired to do, not a single part was done as hired to be doneThey were paid money despite never doing their job and still refuse to They do not belong in business They damaged our home and property and it is going to cost a lot of money to redo the sump pump they messed up, the wall that was put in wrong, the stump grinding, the grading of the yard, getting grass out of my planting beds, repairing my planting beds, etc Every single thing they did was to mess up our home and property They never did a single thing our verbal contract stated and was 100% agreed to by them They charged us and were paid to do the work never done It all needs to be addressed and is going to cost a lot of money to fix their damages in addition to the thousands of dollars they were paid, not to mention our damaged personal items from the sump pump spraying all over the inside of our home and destroying and damaging more property of ours These are all undisputable facts And all they keep doing is lying adding to the stress they already caused It is undeniable this company is 100% in the wrong and did not do their job and thus stole money from us and damaged our property in the process If this is how they operate their licenses need to be revoked An insurance claim against their insurance needs to be made to repair our property and fix everything they messed up due to negligence on their part

The price of any work estimated is never the final and binding price especially for such a large project as the Krampitz project was plus you have to keep in mind of the taxes that are added to the final bill. The sole definition of an estimate is; “roughly calculate or judge the value, number,...

quantity or extent of.” During the time of the appointment for the estimate, it was only [redacted] and [redacted] nor the crew never met or spoke to the husband or the son and neither were physically there for the estimate. The tree removal work was done on 10/9/17, an invoice for this work was sent out via mail on 10/10/17. This is the process for all the jobs we do, all invoices are printed and sent out by next business day. We did not hear from [redacted] nor received a check in the mail until on 10/27 she emailed [redacted] to complain about the work. Again the tree removal work was done on 10/10/17 and the grading and retaining wall work done on 10/20/17, and she waited until a week after the grading work to contact [redacted].  [redacted] and the crew strictly work off the notes and what the customer tells them to do. They would never just make up work to do at a house especially for a big project like this one. [redacted] has been in business for over 30 years and the crew has been with him for many years as well, therefore, they are highly skillful in the work they do. The regrading and retaining wall work was not done immediately after the tree removal work due to the weather conditions (which we have provided a summary of the weather report for that two week time frame). It would be senseless to come do regrading work during and right after rainfall. It rained on 10/10, 10/11 and 10/14 to make the ground too wet to effectively get the work done properly. During the week of 10/16-10/20 it did not rain at all, as you can see from the weather report provided, therefore, the crew was able to come back at the end of the week on 10/20 to do the grading work and build the retaining wall once the ground was dry. If they would have came any earlier it would have destroyed the yard. When the crew is assigned to a large project, they do not leave nor do they leave to go do other jobs. While the crew was working hard on the project [redacted] had stopped by multiple times to check in on them and work to make sure everything was ok. [redacted] had also told [redacted] that his company does not do fencing work at all. In her other complaint letter she had stated she had a fencing company come out to do the fence, so why state that [redacted] was going to do it but never did. The “dirt” that was removed from the property was clay which was 10” thick and it was from the basement foundation. You cannot grow grass on clay. [redacted] also showed the crew leader exactly how high she wanted the wall. The sump pump house was hooked up on the outside of the house, just as the crew has done with hundreds of other homes. The second complaint letter sounds to be written by the husband and stating that [redacted] is disabled as if she is unable to take care of herself, walk, work, or write the complaint letter. During the estimate appointment, again it was only [redacted] and [redacted] and [redacted] never mentioned to [redacted] that she was disabled, or any issues she or the family was going through. Since he had absolutely no knowledge of this, he would not be able to scam her because she is disabled from a car accident, which has no connection or effect on landscaping work done at the house. They state that they have pictures to provide the poor work, we have attached these pictures to this letter as well so you can obtain your personal opinion on the grading work. The pictures clearly show the grading away from the house, not toward it. They complained about the backyard and the sump pump broken which made a huge mess in their house yet never provided picture evidence of this. The foundation of the house was just done and the work done by the CJS crew was strictly done outside and would not have an effect on water leaking inside. They stated that they placed grass in the flower beds, however, [redacted] was specifically told to place a line where she wanted the flower bed edging to be and the grading work to stop so the crew knew and she never did so. They stated that the crew was never given permission to use the neighbor’s driveway for more than one day however, [redacted] walked with 3 of the crew men to speak with the neighbor about using the driveway to do all the work. If they were not able to use the driveway for the entire project then they wouldn’t have done the job at all and would have declined to do the work entirely. The crew leader seen the neighbor outside multiple times while they were there working and never said a word, complained, or told them not to use the driveway. The crew leader had asked for [redacted] to come out to look at the work to make sure it was good for her, she very rudely said yes and said she was very business with phone calls and stormed away. The bill was reduced for not doing the stump grinding as well as working out an agreement with [redacted] on a reduced price for the entire project. [redacted] and the crew did what they were told to do by [redacted] and have completed the work.

As usual this company is making things up and cannot tell the truth about anything.  We had to repeatedly request the invoices and they only sent them to us when we asked repeatedly and I have the emails of this and documentation of the phone calls on this too. They tree work wsa never completed and still is not completed, but paid for in full. we have ALL of the emails, and letter we gave to the company while on site too, when we were not going to be available and work was already to have been done but was not. And my son WAS present for the estimate. My son is always present with me and I keep a communication device to speak with him as he is mostly bed ridden for years now and he can hear and communicate with me at any point if I am not right next to him for his safety.We,also, have photographs as well as witness to all fo this, including the old man that comes to do work at the neighbor's house  could not get in to the neighbors property ,(which they damaged and refused to fix as well),at all to do the work he needed to do repeatedly because CJS did not have permission to but took over the neighbor's property and was asked not to several times. But they continued to use and block the the neighbor's property.  We HAD to REPEATEDLY request invoices from this company, that they REPEATEDLY failed to send out.  WE have at least 10 other contractors that were out to quote our job, which is not a large job by any means, it is much larger now that CJS messed up our property and did not do a single thing they were under verbal contract to do in any way they were contracted to do so and repeatedly were asked for a contract and repeatedly failed to provide one. All other quotes were for EXACTLY what this company was supposed to do and was paid to do but did not and refused to despite being paid to do the work and failing to do so. All of the other companies quotes were exact as Wisconsin state law required them to be and are binding, not abiraty as this person ignorant to the law and their job is claiming. And each of he other quotes were significantly less than this was paid out as with what they claim to be reduced costs, but were nto reduced nor should they even have gotten a dime for not doing their jobs. All quotes given are required to be final costs of the EXACT number that the job all cost, all quoted I have received on the more than a dozen jobs I have had done in the past several months, with the exception of this one were because that is proper business and law, this is part of business, not adding in extra costs as you see fit.  [redacted] at CJS knew we had other quotes and the particulars were discussed in detail as we needed things done exactly as we planned and we made certain they knew this. HE, also, was aware the only reason we would pay more is to get it done was to get it done on our schedule we had, which he guaranteed us he would and did not.  And then ever did any of the work he was hired to do. This is 100% fact. And each of the other contractors quotes are in writing and show the work to be done and there are emails to every one of them with clarifications and stipulations that we required to have done and every single one of them was asked to meet. WE needed to restore our property to the condition it was before other work was done. The job that CJS was hired to do was never completed and still is not and they failed ot do a single thing they were hired to do nor in any professional matter, that is a fact.  They are a scam artist and need to be penalized to the full extent of the law and not allowed to rip people off again, I have seen that they have done similar to others.And as usual, the rest of this is all fabrications of their mind to try to make themselves seem better than they are and hide the facts; however, the fact is we have stated 100% fact and have proof in many forms to back it up. They just lie and lie.The only actual facts are they were hired to remove dirt from our yard to lower the grade and pitch of the ayrd while they regraded from the house to the ditch in the front, (holding the to pf the planting bed with wood chips installed 4-6” belowthe siding at the very highest point),, prep our planting beds,bring in top soil to replace the lowered dirt, but keep the grade lower as discussed and make it smooth not the wavy and full of holes with a nasty mess that is way higher and sloping to the house with holes and nastiness everywhere. They were to plant grass of our choosing, not weeds and not plant our existing and plantign beds to be prepped with grass at all every, and then they were to put a retaining wall in a few feet in front of a tree and not digging up my bushes and plants and having a wall that will be knocked down by the tree they decided to brace it up to, etc. They were also to first take done and stump grind 2 trees without damaging our property. They did not do a single one of these things. The trees were taken down, the wall was put up not where or how we discussed, the grade was not done at all and there was dirt not top soil as was guaranteed brought in to raise everything up and do 100% not what they were asked, no top soil was brought in at all. Not one thing was done proper of professionally and they threw cinder blocks on top of my bushes, they destroyed my planing beds, they took my retaining wall blocks we had as pavers and shot-put them around the yard causing holes and divots everywhere in additional to the heavy equipment marks all over my entire yard that they left, plus the brick and cinder blocks and my pavers that were thrown in my planting beds on to p of my plants, etc. They were never ever supposed to planted my planting beds with grass. All sort of 100% unprofessional behavior and 100% did not do a thing they were hired to do. The sump pump does not work because of them and the system is not installed properly in any stretch of any imagination, we have had to have others out to see this and each is appalled at the atrocities they did. It is not done at all properly, does not meet code of any sort, it is not functional at all and had to be rigged for the winter due to this contractor. It is going to cost us several hundred dollars to fix something that was never a problem in the 18 years we have lived here until this contractor came to our property and messed up everything they could. They can spout whatever lies they want these are all facts and we have proof. We are honest hard working people that need the law upheld for us. They are people trying to scam others making up lies. WE can provide professionals that can attest to everything we are saying we have had plenty of contractors here that have all attested to this, we already spent over $300 to redo the fence they were supposed to do in this contracted amount too. And we are getting quotes to fix every single thing they messed up around here, it is looking very expensive to get it back to what approximately $4000 from every other contractor would have cost us to do this job and do it properly, this is approximately what all other quotes were for what we asked to have done. It was not a large job by any professionals standards. They need to be put out of business. Our proof is not fabricated as there is and we have tons of evidence we will be presenting to the state and to the courts on them as they are total scam artist and anyone with eyes can see their 100% fabrications and unprofessionalism.  IF you need the proof we have it.  IT just needs to be pdf-ed and captains added to the phots showing 100% what they depict and is a work product that will need to be at their cost.
