TD Bank Financial Group

35 years customer, now seeking a new bank. In the past few months TD has advised me of a 40% increase on the rate of interest on my line of credit and similar increases in service fees of all types. The branch officers, who are very nice, are powerless to alter any of this. Meanwhile, TD has posted RECORD profits and increases to executive compensation. They have no empathy for the customers who are the core of their business. We are being gouged to boost their profits. Good-by Bank of Toronto.

MY! MY! MY! You know, I really thought this bank was what they portrayed it to be in their commercials; but, I WAS TOTALLY WRONG! First of all, I have NEVER experienced a bank representative hanging up the phone on my when all I was trying to do is to get access to my online account. THIS WAS A FIRST FOR ME; and I have been banking for years with other banks. I have been banking with *** and *** for years and this has NEVER happened to me.

In any event, I have called about three or four times and have gone to a branch, which I was referred to, but no one has been able to help with the process. I have a small non-profit organization and we don't have events and make transactions throughout the year. Some months are dead.

I need to get into my account so that I can review and report to my staff; but, this bank CAN'T seem to help, even by going into the branch. What this bank promotes is not what it is all about. How is this bank in business and they can't provide basic service to their customers? Not to say, THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO RESPECT for customers. ***

SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE. I am still stuck and can't resolve my issues. ***

I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE THAT A BANK REPRESENTATIVE HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME instead of HELPING ME, WHO IS A CUSTOMER. I guess this bank does not need anymore customers.
