Tea N More

Review: On Monday evening I placed a to-go order at Tea N More and left my phone at the counter next to the register by mistake. Within an hour or so, I received a call from an employee and went back to pick up the phone. I did not realize until early the next morning that my 16G micro SD memory card had been removed and stolen from the phone. Because I did not sit at a table where customers had access to the phone, the only people who had access to the phone were the 2 employees working at the time. When I called to talk to the manager, I found out he was not scheduled to work until today 5/9. One of the regulars I spoke to mentioned that this has happened 3 times before, where customers retrieve their phones only to find that their memory card is missing. When I called and explained the situation, [redacted] (the manager) asked for my name and number and said he would look into the matter and then call me back. Instead, he gave my number to the employee who was working at the time, [redacted], without my permission. [redacted] called me and I informed him that if the memory card was returned, I would not file a police report. When I called [redacted] back at Tea N More and told him the same, he became irate, saying, "I don't care about your memory card. No one here cares. Just file a police report."Desired Settlement: Although the memory card itself has little monetary value (probably less than $20), the 400 or so pictures that were on the card are irreplaceable. I would like every effort made on the part of the business owner to see that the employee "finds" my card, returns it to me, and is taken to task.
