Teacher Next Door

I called Teachers Next Door and was connected to Bryant a sales rep. who said a lot of positive benefits regarding Teachers next door (home inspection was free, $5,000 towards closing cost and better overall interest rate, etc. ) I explained to him that we have a house in mind with a price and the fact we were working with a real-estate broker and were inquiring about how their services different then the bank. Again, he noted all of the above incentives and assured me that they would be able to compete with my local bank. So, after spending hours, putting all my paper work together, I get a email saying they only give out 485,000.00 (cap) loans for people who live in Washington. This was a surprise, especially since I already told him that the house we were looking at was over 600,000,00. I was really irritated at the fact he was not forthcoming in the beginning and now my personal information which I had to scan and email is in their hands and I honestly don't trust them. I will have to lock all of my accounts now that they have a lot of personal information- yet they still wanted my W'2 (which I need not send).
