For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:The company has made no offer of resolution*** *** originally stated that they were never shown everything that was to be movedHis estimator did a complete walk through of my home, garage, and back yardHe refers to an "elaborate patio set"My patio set is a table with four chairs and an umbrellaNot very elaborateHe keeps referring to making two trips with an 18' truckFirst of all, per the Michigan Moving Association, industry standard is a 24' truckSecond, my quote was to move my entire home with men doing the jobIt is not my fault that he brought an 18' truck and men*** *** references an overwhelming number of boxesThere were a total of boxesSeven (7) were wardrobe boxesObviously, this was an overwhelming amount for his companyHowever, for a bedroom, basement, living room, family room, dining room, kitchen, and two car garage home, that does not seem like very many boxesThat averages to boxes per room.I feel that as a consumer, I have been violatedThe stress and aggravation that this has caused not only me, but my wife and children is unacceptableI entered into a contract with *** *** and he has breached itMy original complaint still stands.Thank you in advance for your unbiased handling of this matter

Massive numbers of boxed items were nowhere to be found.Of the very full garage, we were shown a limited volume of goods that he wanted to move on moving date however on moving date he doubled the volume of garage items he wanted moved to the new home. He also added nine a significantly large outdoor patio system consisting of approximately 20 pieces on the estimate date, the items he showed us to move would've easily fit in a bout a truckload and one half. But after adding on a significant amount of goods  we completely filled two truckloads of an 18 foot enclosed box truck.So [redacted] through his bait and switch received $800 worth of moving value for $550.  So an 18 foot box truck full of his goods was mood for only $275. That's not good enough for our friend [redacted] however it seems he wants to pay $175 per 18 foot full truckloads , gosh that sounds like a fair deal ---NOT. LolI still contend that one day after [redacted] calms down   And realizes the error of his ways he will take advantage of my offer to allay his guilty feelings of shorting us $250 on this job. I will accept his payment of $250 only under these conditions:  I will put half into a trust fund for my autistic son [redacted] and the other half I will donate to the charity of [redacted] choosing. The fact that the quote was done 3 weeks prior to move, did not afford me to have everything boxed.  To quote a flat rate and then determine that someone made a mistake and under bid, is not my fault.  My wife and I contracted this company to move our entire household, not two thirds of it.  In his response, he has not proposed any solution. I feel that I was taken complete advantage of.
