Review: Started having problems with the car. Took it to team Kia and they used a diagnostic machine on it. I took the van in on 2 different times. I was told I need $3400 to get the van fixed. I've only owned the vehicle for 10 months.Desired Settlement: They should fix they vehicle. They sold me someone else's problem.

Review: I took my car there to have it looked at. There was no engine light on it was just making a sound when I would hit the gas. They called me and said their mechanic could not find anything wrong with my car beside my brakes and rotors. I picked my car up they charged me 95.00 for their mechanic to look at my car. As I was driving it home I started to hear a different sound. As a few days past I kept hearing this noise so I took my car to another mechanic because I did not want to pay another 95.00 to be told nothing was wrong with my car anyway this mechanic had found that my left tire was not properly put back on and that my brakes and rotors where ok.. I have 2 children one 11 months and one that is 8 that I drive in that car on a daily basis I could have been in an accident because of their carelessness

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[At time of purchase I was given a fake or incomplete carfax report showing the vehicle I was purchasing had no accidents. upon trading the car into another dealership last week. they gave me an accurate report showing it was involved in an accident the required it to be towed. I should be given a refund of some kind due to the salesman decieving me so that I purchased the lemon pontiac torrent. I would have never purchased the vehicle if I knew it was in a n accident previously]

RE: ID # [redacted]Dear Ms. [redacted]In your letter [redacted] states that he was given a "fake" or "incomplete" Carfax report. As Stated in our previous response Carfax and Autocheck are outside companies in which they provide a report of any previous insurance claims against a vehicle. These are non-affiliated companies in which customers may request to see a report of a vehicle from these companies, in which Team is happy to provide.Team does not provide "fake" or "incomplete" Carfax / Autocheck reports, the reports come directly from these companies.Sincerely,[redacted] Sales Manager Team KIA [redacted] ###-###-####

Review: I purchased a vehicle in 2004. I was supposed to have a warranty that I would receive a refund of the full price of the warranty if I never used it within the five years that I paid on the car. I've tried to claim this warranty refund since July of 2009 - five years ago! They ignore every request via phone call. I've already contacted [redacted], who is the company that supposedly provided the warranty, which is now out of business...and they are not responding. I've also tried to contact the Revdex.com in California. I am requesting the full warranty refund of $1,369.Desired Settlement: Full refund of $1,369 warranty due to no claims every being filed during the duration of payments.

Review: Paid 14,000 for this vehicle and have several issues. The trunk leaks, the breaks squeal, the tires were supposed to have 11/32 of tread, have one half of that. The service dept doesn't have a clue. Had an appt for trunk seal replacement and when arriving for repair the parts weren't there. Returned at a later date seal was replaced but the tech didn't connect the remote unlock harness back after seal was replaced. I have only put 3000 miles on this vehicle. Would not recommend buying from this dealer. There 100 point inspection is lacking in about 40 points.Desired Settlement: Replace brake items causing squeal, and trunk leak which seems to be an on going problem and should be recalled. The tire tread was much less than told at time of sale. So new tires would be expected. Anything less would not be acceptable. Very disappointed in the purchase of this vehicle.

Re: [redacted] ID# [redacted]

Dear Ms. [redacted],

The customer purchased the vehicle from us on July 16th with 29,769 miles on it.

The customer did not wish to be called only wanted to be contacted via email when his parts arrived. We installed the weather strip that was ordered for the customer’s vehicle on August 9th at 31,130 miles. At that time, the repair order stated that there were further diagnostics needed for the water in the trunk light and there was nothing mentioned about a tire or brake concern at that time.

Mr. [redacted] is more than welcome to bring his vehicle back for service to have these issues resolved.

Sincerely,

[redacted],

Sales Manager,

Team Kia

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The trunk seal replacement was done incorrectly and was corrected by my personal mechanic. But the trunk when opening still leaks. The brake squealing did not occur until after the seal was replaced. Upon further inspection by my mechanic the brakes pads were replaced because they were under the wear allowance and the vehicle shouldn't have been inspected and passed because of this. I no longer have any trust in this company and especially there service department who are very rude. The mileage has nothing to do with the fact that I paid 14K for this vehicle and have nothing but problems and recalls since. They have a hundred point inspection but they missed or just let some issues slide by. Very disappointed and will avoid dealing with them again unless absolutely essential. I also give them a F rating. Word of mouth has already cost them money. And as far as how I wanted to be contacted is my choice and at the time didn't have home service, just cell phone for which I don't have plastered to my ear 24 hours a day like the rest of the population so that comment is erralevant.

Review: On the morning of January 11th I got into my car and realized that there was no heat. I called Team Kia and was told I could drop my car off on January 13th for a diagnostic test. I left my vehicle there & when I picked it up I was told it was the Kick Panel/Fuse Box. [redacted] (in the service department) said they pulled out some fuses & re-inserted them and I was told that all seemed fine, but if the problem persisted, we would need to replace the Kick Panel/Fuse Box. I was charged $95.35 for a diagnostic fee. For about 2 weeks the heater worked and on January 29th my heater stopped working again.I contacted [redacted] & advised him of the issue and he transferred me to [redacted] (parts department). He then ordered the Kick Panel/Fuse Box part which came in on January 31st. We set up for my Sorento to be dropped off on February 3rd. During this time, I had to have friends/family take me to & from work. Later the same day, [redacted] called me & said that it was NOT the Kick Panel/Fuse Box but the Control Unit for my A/C & heat that needed to be replaced. I tried to find this part from a local junkyard, with no success. I did give permission for [redacted] to order the part & I paid extra $45.00 to have it shipped overnight. [redacted], however, did agree to pay for 1 day of rental, on February 4th, 2014 at the cost of $25.00. On February 5th I picked up my Sorento and my total bill was $847.75. My heater worked fine until February 24th, again I had no heat. I took my car back up to Team Kia, I went to pay for rental car for February 24th& 25th it was a total of $68.80. I picked my car up on Tuesday February 25th and had it back up to Team Kia on Thursday February 27th again no heat. I proceeded to get another rental car from February 27th, 2014 thru March 4th, 2014 which costs me $174.00. As of Saturday March 8th, my car, again, has no heat. I dropped it off on Tuesday March 11th & picked it up on Friday, March 14th. It cost me another $87.00.I have 2 special needs children that I take to either a lot of appointments or extra curricular activities & I need heat/air in the car for them.Desired Settlement: Up thru March 14th, 2014 I have spent $1,272.90. I did receive a call from [redacted] in the middle of May offering to return $95.35 to me, but I declined. He stated that I chose to get rental cars but they offer a shuttle. It runs only during their hours of opertions which is 8-5. I am a supervisor at a local utility company which operates 7-7. I needed a car for work & my children.I feel that I should be re-imbursed 425.15 for everything but control panel if not the full 1272.90.Thanks for your time
