Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.
[The broken piece was caused by the pool cleaner standing on the top of the SPA coping while cleaning the pool. It is not an issue with the age or the need to refinish the top of the SPA. Clearly, undue stress on the coping will call it to break irrespective of the age. Careful examination of SPA coping, the point of breakage and the piece that was broken clearly shows that the reason alluded to by Parrot Head pool is not correct.
I did not receive any calls as claimed by Parrot Head Pool Services. Can they provide copies of phone transcripts (or any proof for that matter) that support this claim? Did they leave me a voicemail when they called? If they truly did call, why did they not mention this piece of information the last time I called (late November) or engage with me the way they would a customer towards resolving this? The response I got when I called in November was that they had passed my numerous messages to Tom [redacted] (the owner) and they do not know why he has not called me back. This was the last straw that broke the back of the proverbial camel. If they had even made a weak effort to work with me on this issue as one will expect a customer-facing business, why would I resort to Revdex.com to assist with address this issue?

Sent: Monday, January 12, 2015 8:02 PM To: drteam Subject: Regarding Complaint #[redacted]   This message is in regard to my complaint submitted on 12/5/2014 11:10:03 PM against Parrot Head Pool Service, which was assigned ID #[redacted].   On 12/30/2014, I accepted the business's response to resolve this complaint. Specifically, Mr. Tommy [redacted] suggested a person-to-person meeting with (after the holiday break) to resolve the issue, which is not unreasonable. In my email reply to the business's response, I wrote that I will be available to meet with Mr. [redacted] anytime on the morning of Tuesday January 6th between 9 A.M.—noon. To honor this appointment, I cancelled all my work activities/appointments for the day but Mr. [redacted] did not show up. The following day, Wednesday January 7th, I called the Parrot Head Pool office by 8:38 AM to follow-up with Mr. [redacted] and explore the possibility of scheduling another appointment. I got the office voice mail and left a message for Mr. [redacted] requesting that he called me back so that we can arrange for another convenient time to meet in order to resolve this issue. So far, I have been given what appears to be the cold shoulder by Mr. [redacted]--he neither called back nor followed up on how he wants to proceed with resolving this matter.   When I accepted the business's response that we should meet to work out this issue,  I did so in good faith. This resulted in my complaint being closed by Revdex.com as satisfactorily resolved. Given the recent development, I would like to appeal that my  closed complaint be marked as unresolved since Parrot Head Pool Service has clearly shown bad faith towards resolving this matter.   Thank you!!   Dr. [redacted]

Parrot Head Pool Service did try to return Mr. [redacted]'s phone call several times. The damaged coping was due to the age of the stone, not by anything we did. I dont want to sound short but, the materials used to construct the pool (tile, coping, and plaster) do need to be replaced or refinished...

periodically, they do not last forever.

Parrot Head Pool Service position remains the same, The pool coping around the pool is designed to be walked on. Over time pool coping (especially natural stone) can become weak and break. I am willing to meet with the customer after the holidays to resolve this issue. If a person to person meeting cannot resolve this issue I will request arbitration.Tommy [redacted]713-[redacted]
