Very dissatisfied with Team Chevrolet - Valparaiso, Indiana. I purchased a 2013 Ford Edge on July 11, 2016. I have had my car in the service department at least 4 times - 2 times for air conditioning and 2 times for heating problems. The car is just over 3 months old. The Service Department assures me that prior to my purchase the heating and air condition operation/system was checked thoroughly prior to my purchase. I haven't even put 1,000 miles on the vehicle (no oil change yet)...and, the vehicle only has 40,000 miles on it. Each time I'm told it's a different problem that went bad due to wear and tear on the vehicle. I was sold a $400+ monthly service contract - which I couldn't afford to keep. Now, I'm told the radiator is cracked? And, that it was checked a month ago when I brought it in, was checked the prior month and prior to me purchasing it??? Seriously? How does a radiator just crack due to wear and tear on the vehicle with 40,000 miles on it? Now I'm worried if there is an engine problem that caused it? Negligence on their part? I was told the first time I brought it in for heating problems that the heat wouldn't have been checked prior to my purchase - because it was summer time? Seriously? Now, the Service Advisor, Ryan is saying....yes it was. So, who do I believe? I'm afraid that these problems were known prior to my purchase, therefore pushing a 400+ monthly service contract. The service department is HORRIBLE to deal with. Suzanne - Service Manager is beyond rude to customers. The used car manager - aka Sales Manager, Billie - told me specifically last week that the dealership would stand behind me. Now, not so much...it's my problem. I work hard for my money, and I know things can go wrong with a used vehicle. But, I was assured upon purchase by my salesman that the vehicle was fully inspected - in fact, it was stated to me that it was certified used vehicle upon purchase....Now, I'm told that it is not certified because the dealership is a Chevy dealership and, this is a used Ford vehicle. Seems like everyone you talk to has something different to tell you. I was told yesterday that my car is torn apart - why torn apart for a cracked radiator???????? MY ADVICE IS TO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP/SERVICE CENTER. THE CUSTOMER IS NOT RIGHT...THE DEALERSHIP IS ALWAYS RIGHT...AND, ANSWERS CHANGE DEPENDING ON WHO YOU TALK TO....SERIOUSLY - MY WORST EXPERIENCE IN EVER BUYING A VEHICLE FROM A DEALERSHIP!!!!!!!!
