sans-serif">I am the owner of Creative Instinct and have just recently received your complaint I understand your concerns and would like to address them with you.To begin with, as you know we are a "second hand" store and as such we don't provide a guarantee or warranty of any product that we offer This is very much typical of "second hand" stores While I understand why you may be frustrated when you purchase a product from a store that can not provide a guarantee, there are a few things that I would like to point out.To begin with, you did receive a very good deal on an item that was worth well more than $ Even the gemstone alone has a greater value than $ Additionally, both you and the sales associate did notice that the gemstone was crooked and a little lose in the setting There was no attempt on our part to deceive or hid any imperfections of this second hand item.As previously mentioned, we do have a "no refunds" sign displayed at our checkout counter (and several other places in the store) This isn't obligated by any law as second hand stores are not legally required to offer any guarantee or warranty However, I am sorry that the sign wasn't clear enough to you and will make an effort to make it clear to all future customers I certainly want this to be clear to all.You may a strong point of "buyer beware" in your complaint I happen to agree with you and I don't consider that a bad thing at all At second hand stores you can get amazing deals; part of why this is is because these stores don't provide any guarantee or warranty on the products that are sold If they did, then they would need to raise the price of all of products to account for returns Unlike stores that you buy new items, if an item were returned to us, we couldn't return it to a manufacture for a refund Major stores have the ability, but as the consumer you are paying more for products as a result.An overwhelming majority of our products have no problems at all and we are able to sell them to our customers at a great price Yes, as a customer you should be aware that you are buying a "previously owned" good and understand that this means that the item may not be in perfect working order And, yes, I completely understand the frustration of buying something that soon after breaks...you have no idea how many times that happens to be both personally and when I buy things to sell in the store It is the risk I take myself when I buy a second hand item.In closing, I am sorry that you had a bad experience and I hope you understand why we have the "no refund" policy I also hope that you are able to find a good use for the gemstone (I'm glad you didn't lose it!) or are able to have someone fix the ring at an affordable rate (might only cost a few buck to have it put back in...just a helpful suggestion).Thank you,-***

Review: BUYER BEWARE - On there card it shows [redacted] - I went into the store once before and saw a little ring I liked but didn't get it that day. I went back to look for a prom dress for my granddaughter and saw the same ring. I asked if they had a sale going and was told yes. So the ring went from $60.00 to $40.00. I had mentioned to her that the stone looked a little crooked in the setting and was told that is the way the person must have put it in (the person they got the jewelry from). The ring looked like a little wedding cake with 3 little tiny tiers and the stone looked like an oval opal (which I like). I purchased the ring and put it on on the way home. The stone fell out even before I got home! I called and left a message as soon as I did get home. I called the next day and said I would be bringing it back. No refund policy on the receipt or mentioned when I was purchasing it which I mentioned to her. I was told there is a "no refund" sign above the cash register. But I am sure so small and in a bad place you can't see it unless pointed out. They said basically tough!!! So I am screwed out of $40.00 - not an expensive ring but should last longer than on the ride home after purchased. I was also told basically tough from the owner and they would do nothing about it.So stay away from this store unless you don't care it it lasts!!!!!!! The owner never did talk to me to try and resolve anything just tough. Not good customer relations as far as I am concerned. I WON'T BE BACK EVER AND NEITHER WILL ANY ONE ELSE I CAN TELL ABOUT THE PLACE!!!!! Unfair customer service. Strange since that is who will keep them in business or out of business which ever comes first. BUYER BEWARE FOR YOURSELF!Desired Settlement: No sort of settlement was ever mentioned! I have mentioned to them I would bring it back and basically told We Are Sorry But!!! They should have to put their "AS IS NO REFUND" on their receipts and tell the people before they purchase anything so this doesn't happen again to something purchased from their place. I left the store - put it on my finger and the stone fell off on my short ride home. I am just lucky I found it. They shouldn't be selling things (jewelry, or) they fall apart
