Team Kia of El Cajon Reviews (13)

The down payment was requested from Corporate already, she should be receiving it any day

Still willing to have the fenders painted for her, other than that, we're doneThere was no fraud or misrepresentation, as she stated Nothing illegal done, nothing promised that wasn't already givenShe bought a vehicle, which comes with miles and some wear and tearIt's never going to be a new vehicle againI don't know how she figured the $6,extra down to accomplish a payment she could afford or how she figured how she would be upside down because I/we never talked about itRemember, she never came inShe is unreasonable and we are done offering anything to help her any furtherThis will be my/our last replyThank you, [redacted] ***

Mr and Mrs [redacted] are sub-prime customers, and were not easy to get an approval for at a bankAs a matter of fact, the bank fees are so high to get them a loan, we had to offer them a vehicle for less than what we owned it forNot only were we helping them, but we were losing money to help them It was there choice not to move forward, not ours, not the banksAs for their payment being high, that's based on the terms that the bank gives, not usIf our efforts are not good enough for them, they are more than welcome to do business wherever they choose Sincerely, [redacted] ***

The so called "solution" that they offered me was not a solution at all! They offered to paint the fenders, which would not FIX anything, as we previously discussed, because that would simply just mask the problem, and the paint would continue to come offThe only proper and acceptable solution was to Line-X or rhino liner the trim of the car, which I received a $quote from Line-X of El CajonThe paint along the whole side of the car can come off with a simple finger rub, and they are trying to tell me thats oxidation (which I have the emails from Jeff Richards to support his claim)- thats asinine and an insult to my intelligenceThe "two scratches" that [redacted] is referring to are actually about eight inches in length and the contingency of me buying the vehicle was that those scratches were going to be able to be buffed out, and because they can't be buffed out (which [redacted] affirmed), that is what is called "misrepresentation"...which is illegal!! You cannot tell me that the car can be fixed to a certain standard, but actually can't-thats misrepresenting information that affects the vehicles desirability which is unlawfully characterized as being fraudWhat kind of customer service is that? apparently not that great, because Team Kia of El Cajon has approximately people (out of reviews) who have had negative experiences with this dealership (reference- http://m.yelp.com/not_recommended_reviews/team-kia-of-el-cajon-el-cajon)Also, to say that my boyfriend is more upset than myself is offensive, considering that I was in hysterics when I first talked to the service manager, after he repetitively told me that there is nothing he can do for me--feel free to listen to that recordingI had to bring my boyfriend with me when I came back to the dealership because I didn't want to be swindled againAlso, the window "chip" as almost doubled in size since I purchased the vehicle, and I noticed all the other issues when upon further inspection after my meeting with ***Team Kia clearly didn't perform any quality inspection because if they did, these issues should of been resolved, and/or brought to my attentionDid they offer to "trade" out my car? yes and no- In essence I would have been upside-down in my car payment and I would have had to put down an extra $6,to even get a car with a payment that I could affordHowever, why would I go back to this dealership when I have had repetitive negative experiences with them? I just want to fix the car and be done with this issue; however, Team Kia needs to be held accountable for their negligence and fraudulent activity immediately [redacted] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted]

Hello-This message is to confirm that I have been contacted by Team Ka of El Cajon directlyThank you for your cooperation.Very Respectfully, *** *** *** ***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined
that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I did meet with *** (sales rep from within their internet department) on 03/08/2015, which I did advise the sales rep of the motorcycle and that I was willing to trade it in with the Land Rover to get this situation settledThe sales representative basically told me the motorcycle would have to be paid off for it to benefit me in this particular situation, his words preciselyBasically telling me another vehicle with negative equity rolling into another loan will only increase the negative amount, thus reducing the amount a new vehicle can beI was advised by *** that I can't trade the Land Rover in unless I provide money down, additional money out of my pocket which is an insult to me since I incurred out-of-pocket expenses on a vehicle that I had just recently purchased on repairs because it was involved in an accident and I wasn't made aware ofI don't believe a company should sell a vehicle that was involved in an accident and should have proper research tools to ensure they don't sell vehicles that are damagedIf I never paid out of pocket for the two warranty repairs, then I would be ok with additional money down on a trade in, but that wasn't the caseIn all this vehicle has damaged my family, my finances, and most importantly my credit.I have all invoices from the repair shop, that will reflect the out of pocket expenses I incurredAlso the invoice from the car rental I had to pay out of pocket for extended period of time while the vehicle was being repaired because Kia of El Cajon wouldn't cover the entire time the car was in the repair shopAlso I have the carfax that will list the date of the accident and the date will reflect a date that is prior to the date Kia of El Cajon made the sale to meIf you believe this much struggle is worth forcing me to trade additional assets, I find that to be extremely unfair and rude
Best Regards,
*** ***

Customer came in, but did not tell us about being able to trade motorcycle tooWe are reaching out to see how that plays into helping him out of the Landrover

The up to $over Kelly fair market value for your trade in is available on certain vehicles in stockWe would invite *** to come back in so we can explain how it works in detailThe phone numbers listed in her complaint belong to other people, but we would encourage her to call and
set up an appointment or stop by at her convenience

My name is *** *** and I am the General Sales Manager for Team Kia of El CajonI can say for a fact that we addressed all concerns that Ms*** spoke of previous to this written statement and offered solutions to herShe accepted one, which was reimbursement for a new battery, which I
offered without her even asking for the moneyAs for the scratches( at the time ), I offered to have the entire vehicles plastic fenders and side guards repainted to match how it looked when originally done as a good will gesture, but she refused! She wanted Rhino lining put on the exterior of the vehicle instead, with a quote of $1500.00, which is unreasonableTo say that the vehicle had "hidden paint damages" is LudacrisThe scratch on the fenders that she is talking about, was by her admission brought up at time of purchase. The chip in the windshield( not a cracked windshield ) was inspected, but had already been filled, so there was nothing else to do with itOn top of that, she told me that it wasn't really of a concern to her as long as I addressed the scratches on the fenders, which I didThe piece of roof rack missing and cassette player not working were never brought to my attention from her, so I don't know why this was added nowTo say that she voiced all of her concerns to the individual who sold the car as well as management to no avail? My Service Director, General Manager and myself were all very involved on the phone and in personWe think that we have gone over and above in satisfying her concernsIt's just my opinion, but Ms*** did tell me and my service Director that she bought the vehicle without the assistance from her boyfriend, who, when seeing the scratch, or scratches, was very opinionated about how wise her purchase wasIt sounded more like he was disappointed than she wasMs*** called me again last week asking if I would trade her out of the vehicle and I said I would, but she never showed upNow this

The so called "solution" that they offered me was not a solution at all! They offered to paint the fenders, which would not FIX anything, as we previously discussed, because that would simply just mask the problem, and the paint would continue to come off. The only proper and acceptable solution was to Line-X or rhino liner the trim of the car, which I received a $1500 quote from Line-X of El Cajon. The paint along the whole side of the car can come off with a simple finger rub, and they are trying to tell me thats normal oxidation (which I have the emails from Jeff Richards to support his claim)- thats asinine and an insult to my intelligence. The "two scratches" that [redacted] is referring to are actually about eight inches in length and the contingency of me buying the vehicle was that those scratches were going to be able to be buffed out, and because they can't be buffed out (which [redacted] affirmed), that is what is called "misrepresentation"...which is illegal!! You cannot tell me that the car can be fixed to a certain standard, but actually can't-thats misrepresenting information that affects the vehicles desirability which is unlawfully characterized as being fraud. What kind of customer service is that? apparently not that great, because Team Kia of El Cajon has approximately 150 people (out of 160 reviews) who have had negative experiences with this dealership (reference- http://m.yelp.com/not_recommended_reviews/team-kia-of-el-cajon-el-cajon). Also, to say that my boyfriend is more upset than myself is offensive, considering that I was in hysterics when I first talked to the service manager, after he repetitively told me that there is nothing he can do for me--feel free to listen to that recording. I had to bring my boyfriend with me when I came back to the dealership because I didn't want to be swindled again. Also, the window "chip" as almost doubled in size since I purchased the vehicle, and I noticed all the other issues when upon further inspection after my meeting with [redacted]. Team Kia clearly didn't perform any quality inspection because if they did, these issues should of been resolved, and/or brought to my attention. Did they offer to "trade" out my car? yes and no- In essence I would have been upside-down in my car payment and I would have had to put down an extra $6,000 to even get a car with a payment that I could afford. However, why would I go back to this dealership when I have had repetitive negative experiences with them? I just want to fix the car and be done with this issue; however, Team Kia needs to be held accountable for their negligence and fraudulent activity immediately. [redacted]Revdex.com:

Still willing to have the fenders painted for her, other than that, we're done. There was no fraud or misrepresentation, as she stated.  Nothing illegal done, nothing promised that wasn't already given. She bought a 2003 vehicle, which comes with miles and some wear and tear. It's never going to be a new vehicle again. I don't know how she figured the $6,000.00 extra down to accomplish a payment she could afford or how she figured how she would be upside down because I/we never talked about it.
