As I stated I do not give refund for labor on lights purchased from the consumerI did my part that installed them and fixed them They were working when I left the houseHappy new year to All

I learned a valuable lesson with using [redacted] as a landscaper, actually, serveral lessons:
1. Never hire him without referrals from private individuals
2. Never hire him with a verbal contract
3. Never pay him prior to inspecting the whole yard in the daytime
4. Never take his word that he will come and fix the problem
5. Never take his work that he will give a partial refund on the items that he did not complete.
6. Realize that his written guarantee does not hold up, he failed to come back and the weeds that he sprayed did not die, in fact, the HOA sent me a letter because the weeds were still out on the side portion of the property.

We hired Aaron to take care of our yard. We are out of state and were prompt with our payments. When we returned to our property it was evident he did not maintain the property for the entire time. Weeds everywhere! He stole from us and never completed the service. Buyer beware. There are many options and Aaron should not be one of them.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Owner states, "As of Dec 15 2014 I fixed lights with a fuse that blew from rain." There is no reason to believe our lights stopped working from rain. As previously stated, the lights used were brand new and are outdoor lights. The lights worked for less than a week and stopped working before the rain began. I spoke with [redacted] on 12/15. He did not arrive to our property until 12/18 after several follow ups on my part (I have the text messages saved). Owner states, "That night received a text saying lights were out. Dec 18th came and fixed again." Again, this is incorrect as [redacted] did not come to our property 'again', he came from my original 12/15 phone conversation. Owner states, "I have fixed 2 and offered to keep fixing. Its 3 days until Christmas." [redacted] did not come to our property 2 times to fix, just one and still did not complete the job correctly. We have outdoor cameras on our property and can provide proof if needed of this. Owner states, "As business I can keep fixing. There is not a refund option because she does not get her way." The fact of the matter is this is not personal and does not involve my personal feelings of "me not getting my way". We did not get the work in which we paid for completed. Legal action will be taken if our money is not returned by the end of this year (12/31/14). Regards,[redacted]      [redacted]

As of Dec 15 2014 I fixed lights with a fuse that blew from rain.  That night received a text saying lights were out. Dec 18th came and fixed again. As my first talk I had with this client was that she apologized that she was calling, but lights have not worked for 2 weeks. I said "why...

didn't you call me, her response was that she hired me to put up lights that she purchased and take down. I have fixed 2 and offered to keep fixing. Its 3 days until Christmas. As business I can keep fixing. There is not a refund option because she does not get her way. Thank you for your time.

Did a substandard job on yard, I kept him doing yard (my fault) for almost a year because I felt bad for him. Paid up front every. Month. Decided to quit 3 days after last payment beginning of month, been trying to get my money back for a couple weeks, each time I am told he will be here tomorrow. If I don't get refund soon I will file formal complaint and take to small claims court!
