Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:As you can see in the second recording the operator (presumably Patty) states that "it doesn't sound like it would be normally our price", and she also sounded surprised that I was charged that amountWhen the Tech came I was visibly upset, as I had just had a panic attack from the stress of being locked out for several hoursI strongly believe that I was taken advantage of in this situation because I'd admitted that I was under stress, and had no clue what to doOnly after corroborating their stories did [redacted] change her mind, and decided to support her Tech's version of the situationThis is when she offered to refund me half, and later text me to say that they only took out $104.50, and not $209, which was not trueToday my bank confirmed that $was still pendingIn addition, after I requested that [redacted] not text me anymore, which was very unprofessional, she proceeded to send two more messages that were taunting meInstead of addressing the issue professionally, she sent very disconcerting text messages to my cell phone, which contributed to me having a second panic attack I believe that [redacted] and her Tech were very unprofessional, inconsistent, and also overcharged me for the serviceI understand that it was Memorial Day Weekend, which is why I asked the prices beforehandI was caught off guard with the drastic change in dollar amount, and feared that I would be locked out for the rest of the weekend if I did not proceedThe tech insisted that the person who I spoke to over the phone was new and the price would be the same ($209) regardless the companyThis turned out to be as well Regards, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:As you can see in the second recording the operator (presumably Patty) states that "it doesn't sound like it would be normally our price", and she also sounded surprised that I was charged that amount. When the Tech came I was visibly upset, as I had just had a panic attack from the stress of being locked out for several hours. I strongly believe that I was taken advantage of in this situation because I'd admitted that I was under stress, and had no clue what to do. Only after corroborating their stories did [redacted] change her mind, and decided to support her Tech's version of the situation. This is when she offered to refund me half, and later text me to say that they only took out $104.50, and not $209, which was not true. Today my bank confirmed that $209.00 was still pending. In addition, after I requested that [redacted] not text me anymore, which was very unprofessional, she proceeded to send two more messages that were taunting me. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, she sent 8 very disconcerting text messages to my cell phone, which contributed to me having a second panic attack.
I believe that [redacted] and her Tech were very unprofessional, inconsistent, and also overcharged me for the service. I understand that it was Memorial Day Weekend, which is why I asked the prices beforehand. I was caught off guard with the drastic change in dollar amount, and feared that I would be locked out for the rest of the weekend if I did not proceed. The tech insisted that the person who I spoke to over the phone was new and the price would be the same ($209) regardless the company. This turned out to be false as well.

All I can say is wow.  This lady is unbelievable. For the record, this is the first time I have ever (in 34 years) said this about a customer.  I am completely blown away by her ignorance and her inability to recognize that she was given a major break.  It is obvious she is only focused on getting something for nothing.  She already received a major discount.  Our company always puts our customers first and will not allow this unique individual to have any effect on this policy.

RE: Company Response to Revdex.com Central Texas Complaint ID [redacted] We received a call from [redacted] at 6:10 PM to come and unlock her apartment.  We told her the cost to come out is $29 and the minimum labor charge was $35.  It was Memorial Day and we were very busy.  [redacted] sounded...

stressed out so I pulled in a sub-contractor to assist us.  The locksmith went over the charges with [redacted] prior to doing any work.  Everything was explained to her and she signed an invoice.  Once the door was unlocked, [redacted] paid with a Mastercard.  Which was charged at 7:12 PM for the approved amount of $209.00. At 7:19 PM we received a call from [redacted] who was upset and sounding like she was going to cry.  She sounded young and I figured probably a student.  Being a parent of young adults, I could totally relate and decided to give her a break.  Which meant that we would make absolutely zero from this job. So at 7:36 PM I had my office refund her half the cost of the service she received.  Then at 7:38 PM [redacted] called back and I told her what I thought was good news.  Her reaction was very surprising and unexpected. I was already having an emotional Memorial Day and tried to make her feel better about this situation by sending her a couple of supportive texts.  We regret that [redacted] feels like she does but we are not going to refund her the $104.50 she paid for this job.  We work hard to provide quality results, good prices and top customer service.  We believe that this job was done professionally and the customer received a quality product and treated with respect.
