This is in response to the complaint # [redacted] from [redacted] *** I'm not sure what his complaint is referring to, We did everything correctly when we were working on his van, there was no lying to him or misleading when I was helping *** He came in at 2:for his 2:alignment appointment, at 2:I walked out to his vehicle to drive it in, he followed me out to the van and said we can remove the steering wheel when we do the alignment and then he removed the cover on his steering wheel, I told him we hardly ever have to remove a steering wheel to do an alignment and then I drove his Ford Evan on the alignment rack Every vehicle we get in to do alignments, we have to check the front end parts to make sure everything is tight and in good shape, [redacted] raised the van in the air and checked the parts, he came and told me that both of the king pins are moving a great deal and that the right front wheel bearing had some play in it, I then took [redacted] out to the vehicle and showed him the bad parts, which he could clearly see and told him that we can't do an accurate alignment with the condition the parts were in, he still wanted me to do an alignment but I told him we couldn't because it wouldn't be wise to and he would be wasting his money because the parts are moving so much and we can't do an accurate alignment He said since we were not doing the alignment he wanted us to check the A/C system out instead, we checked the system over and found no dye on any parts in the A/C system and then connected the A/C machine and evacuated the Freon from the system, which there was no Freon in the vehicle, from there we fully charged it with 3.5lbs of freon and dye, [redacted] found the leak in the system & fully evacuated the Freon I talked to [redacted] about the repairs needed on his van and he didn't want to get anything fixed at the time because he did not have enough money, I made out his bill for the A/C leak detection service at $and told him verbally the estimate for the king pins $for the parts & hours labor to change them and to tighten the right front wheel bearing, that would be $I also told *** that the total for fixing the A/C leak and recharging the system with 3.5lbs of freon would be $180, he didn't want me to type an estimate up because he said he was going to take it to a mechanic in Ootsburg, WI that does work cheaply and that's where he had his other work done I didn't feel like there were any miscommunication issues or he did not seem upset at all when he was here, he just wanted to get going when our machine was evacuating the Freon out of his van and he did not understand that we had to take it out because it was leaking and that it takes a little while to recover that much Freon [redacted] also stated that we were taking things from people's vehicles and there was horsing around that there was a lady that came in and was upset, none of this is true, all the customers that came in while [redacted] was here were males and none of them were upset This is the correct account of what happened, I'm not sure what caused [redacted] to say these things about me or the other workers and complain, we do everything with honesty integrity and would never take advantage of anyone After receiving this I tried to call [redacted] several times yesterday and today to resolve the issue, and he has not answered or responded to my messages I hope this helps you Thank You, [redacted]

This is in response to the complaint #[redacted] from [redacted].  I'm not sure what his complaint is referring to, We did everything correctly when we were working on his van, there was no lying to him or misleading when I was helping [redacted].  He came in at 2:00 for his 2:30 alignment...

appointment, at 2:15 I walked out to his vehicle to drive it in, he followed me out to the van and said we can remove the steering wheel when we do the alignment and then he removed the cover on his steering wheel, I told him we hardly ever have to remove a steering wheel to do an alignment and then I drove his 1988 Ford E150 van on the alignment rack.  Every vehicle we get in to do alignments, we have to check the front end parts to make sure everything is tight and in good shape, [redacted] raised the van in the air and checked the parts, he came and told me that both of the king pins are moving a great deal and that the right front wheel bearing had some play in it, I then took [redacted] out to the vehicle and showed him the bad parts, which he could clearly see and told him that we can't do an accurate alignment with the condition the parts were in, he still wanted me to do an alignment but I told him we couldn't because it wouldn't be wise to and he would be wasting his money because the parts are moving so much and we can't  do an accurate alignment.  He said since we were not doing the alignment he wanted us to check the A/C system out instead, we checked the system over and found no dye on any parts in the A/C system and then connected the A/C machine and evacuated the Freon from the system, which there was no Freon in the vehicle, from there we fully charged it with 3.5lbs of freon and dye, [redacted] found the leak in the system & fully evacuated the Freon.  I talked to [redacted] about the repairs needed on his van and he didn't want to get anything fixed at the time because he did not have enough money, I made out his bill for the A/C leak detection service at $49.99 and told him verbally the estimate for the king pins $100 for the parts & 4 hours labor to change them and to tighten the right front wheel bearing, that would be $280. I also told [redacted] that the total for fixing the A/C leak and recharging the system with 3.5lbs of freon would be $180, he didn't want me to type an estimate up because he said he was going to take it to a mechanic in Ootsburg, WI that does work cheaply and that's where he had his other work done.  I didn't feel like there were any miscommunication issues or he did not seem upset at all when he was here, he just wanted to get going when our machine was evacuating the Freon out of his van and he did not understand that we had to take it out because it was leaking and that it takes a little while to recover that much Freon.  [redacted] also stated that we were taking things from people's vehicles and there was horsing around that there was a lady that came in and was upset, none of this is true, all the customers that came in while [redacted] was here were males and none of them were upset.  This is the correct account of what happened, I'm not sure what caused [redacted] to say these things about me or the other workers and complain, we do everything with honesty integrity and would never take advantage of anyone.  After receiving this I tried to call [redacted] several times yesterday and today to resolve the issue, and he has not answered or responded to my messages.  I hope this helps you.  Thank You, [redacted]
