This companys goal is to rip you off They talked us into a new a/c unit in January, The unit was installed in February The unit is now months old and on May 2016, the unit was not cooling the houseI called for service on the unit A rep came out that day, ran a freon leak check and found a leak We were told that when the house was originally built (years ago) they put the line in concrete block and the lyme from the block corroded the freon line to make it leak They sent two techs out May 2016, to install a new line to be run through the attic and down the outside wall of the house, to solve the problem The a/c ran fine that night The next day the temperature was up to degrees again, on May We placed a call to Promag again about the unit not cooling the house They sent another tech out, he checked for leaks again Now to my knowledge the installation of the new freon line on the outside of the house was supposed to solve the problem This tech tells me the muffler on the bottom of the a/c unit is rusted out and needs replacement If there is a leak there, then why wasnt it checked before the installation of the other line at a cost of $Why wasn't this caught in the orignal evaluation on Sunday? This is now the 4th of May and I still have no a/c I understand it rained all day but my problem is not solved The rep they sent out did not have the proper tool to take the screw off and stripped the screw so he could not put the proper freon in the unit I would not suggest this company to anyone They are not very honest in the evaluation of the units If used get a second opinion on anything they suggest to you..I now feel I have been scammed

I just returned from South Carolina after burying my wonderful wife of years and was in quite a bit of stress at the timeMy daughter had just bought me a home in FloridaI realized the Thermostat was reading degrees and the house wasn't coolingI was further stressed because I could not find my checkbookI called your office and was pleasantly surprised when just a bit over an hour after the long drive from Ocala, your service man *** *** showed up to begin the repair of the unitA short time later the house started to cool nicely, and within one hour it was back to its degrees
In my many of years of using air conditioning, I don't recall a single time having been treated with such quick response and courtesyPlease pass this onto your supervisors

I had a great technician, *** *** whom was very thorough in checking my system (AC/Heating)Without rushing or hesitating to answer my questions was careful and vigilant while servicing my systemThings that would eventually need to be replace or items that needed the immediate attention was pointed outExample was the drain line was packed with slug and he expressed the consequences of on treating this conditionBrandon was very nicePromag this is the kind of people you need up on the front linesGive him a pat on the back or provide him with some type of accolade

I had a furnace/ac tune-up done by ProMag on 12/22. This was the first time I'd dealt with ProMag. The service men were very professional. They explained everything they were doing, pointed out things they felt needed my attention. They were not pushy, they did not try to sell me parts, services and appeared to be very honest in their evaluation of my heating/cooling system. I had several questions about the system and they seemed to be very knowledgable concerning the unit I have. I feel they did a great job and was very satisfied with their service.

This has been the worst experience I've had with a contractor. I purchased a brand new Goodman system 2 years ago that was over $5000 and have had nothing but issues with it. It is a 2nd home and each summer when we come we find the system not working when we arrive. The dryer has been replaced twice, the copper lines have been replaced as well and it still does not work efficiently. We purchased a 10 year manufacturers warranty and have not received that as well. I called Goodman and they said it was not registered by Pro Mag . The system never cycles off and this has been mentioned to them as well and they do not stand behind their product.

Promag Energy Group sold me and installed a new 4 ton 15 SEER RHEEM Heat Pump A/C unit in November 2014 to replace my existing unit that was installed in 2005 (best guess). They also installed an APCO Fresh-Aire UV add-on unit to cut down on mildew and to provide cleaner air into my home. On June 23, 2016 I received a cold call from their Kissimmee location asking if I would like to set up a time for them to come out for PM service...I replied yes and "fortunately" for me they were able to set up an appointment later that same day.

As it turned out however, the service was anything but a good experience for me. I thought it was rather odd that it was taking an inordinate amount of time for the tech to perform his simple 24 point PM service but I really grew concerned when I noticed he had pulled down my attic access ladder in my garage. I checked with him several times and asked how things were going and he assured me that he would be discussing his results shortly. That's when I got the good news and the bad news.

He said the good news is that the A/C was operating just fine but that the two UV light bulbs had blown out and needed to be replaced. When I asked how much that was he said $218 each. I was shocked with that news but then he proceeded to inform me that he had some photos taken on his iPhone to show me of "holes" in my supply and return trunk lines pointing out that my duct lines were not sealed.

One of the photos he showed me indicated a gaping hole where it looked as if something had come down on it and pulled it away from the trunk line and the other two or three he explained had insulation near the joints to which he explained that was getting sucked into my system from the loose insulation that typically is blown into most attics. Before he got into his spiel about how much that would cost I interrupted and lit into him that if my ductwork was not now sealed then it should have been sealed at the time of the install of this new unit. He quickly put everything back together, gathered his tools, received my payment, left me my receipt and then left my premises.

It took me a bit to gather my senses but after looking over my receipt and seeing his quote to seal my ducts for $89 for each vent totaling $1,157 I had way more than could take and so I contacted his home office. Oh yes, Mr. L[redacted] those bulbs do cost $218 each to which I replied that's funny my cost for the same bulbs online was about $65. Yes she said but our techs would have to make a special trip to buy them and too Promag would be warrantying the work. And then when I inquired about the quote to seal my duct at $89 each and that I knew this tech could not have looked at everyone of my vents as most of them require accessing the attic in two of my three bedrooms due to the roof configuration.

I then told the lady fielding my concerns that I felt that the tech pulled the ductwork down himself and that he and Promag were doing nothing more than troll for additional work. Shameful! I will never again use this company for any of my service going forward and I further feel it important to let anyone else know of my encounter with what appeared to be to me a shady operation.

As a follow, the owner JD made a special trip out to see if he could resolve my angst. For the record JD, I appreciate your effort but after calling the [redacted], the requirement to seal resident A/C ducts was required for a period of about 6 months at which time the funds available through the State of Florida had run out AND it is no longer a requirement. Questions? Call[redacted]

I would like to share a positive story about the service that I received from Promag Energy Group. I purchased my home in Melbourne in October 2014. Yesterday my fan would not shut off and the unit kept running and running. I contacted Promag because they are the company the previous owners used. Within one hour [redacted] was at my home and repaired my unit under warranty. I am so pleased with the service I recieved and the honesty of the serviceman. Thank You Promag!

Revdex.com spoke with [redacted] from the company and she stated that the certificate does take about 30 days to be sent out.

I have to replace my air conditioning and I called different companies out of all of them ProMac energy group responded prompt with professionalism so I decided to have them install my unit they did a great job i've been really happy with it so I recommend them to my friends and family

This company is horrible. We have had them work on our A/C for the last 2 years. Last year they replaced a coil in our A/C unit. Not even 13 months later the same coil was found to be damaged by their technician and when he took it out this time it was rusted. A coil should not rust after 13 months. They arrived without the parts needed to replace the item alleging they needed to secure our serial number. We already provided them with our serial number, they just did the repair 13 months prior and had inspected the A/C 2 weeks ago. They then asked us to pay without providing us with a receipt for the work performed. They would not work with us on the labor of a part covered under warranty even though it was just replaced 13 months ago. They have horrible customer service. The people we talk to are rude as well.

Great experience. [redacted] from the Fort Pierce Office was prompt,
courteous and professional. He did a great job and was willing to
teach us a lot about our system and answer all our questions. Very
pleased and would recommend him and the company.

I received service from this merchant last week and had an positive review to provide on them. The reasons for this positive review are that the technician was on-time ([redacted]) and he was extremely professional and courteous. He also explained the process he was doing so I could understand it. In addition, he didn't try to push the sale of additional products. Lastly, the price for the service of my AC unit was only $39.95 which is much lower than other places I've seen for tune-ups.

Please let me know if you have any questions on this at (XXX) XXX-XXXX.

Thank you,

Review: I took a Personal Care Assistant class with Team Nurse in South Boston, VA from May 19-23. The class required a $50.00 deposit with the remaining $200.00 coming out of my paycheck. I decided to pay the full amount on the 23rd of May. I am supposed to receive a certificate stating that I completed the class and am now a PCA. I called the main office on the 30th of May and was told the certificate would be sent to me between the 1st and 7th of June. In the meantime, I thought I would be working for the company as I had completed the requirements for employment. However, I had another employee inform me that the girl in the office ([redacted]) told the employee that I, [redacted], was crazy and had a bad attitude. This woman does not know me and I do not appreciate her telling another employee anything about me. Meanwhile, I can not go to work for another company until I receive the certificate. This causes lost wages for me as well as pain and suffering to think that this company gives out their opinions and does not call people for employment even though they require them to pay for the certification that they can't seem to print out and mail. Can I get my money back or what?Desired Settlement: I would like an apology and to receive my money back in compensation for the above mentioned slander against me. Thank you.
