Review: I purchased the Indoor & Outdoor Cooler & Warmer AC/DC Item MR-148 through [redacted]. The product never worked. I opened the box it was shipped in. I plugged it in. To set the desired temperature of the unit, you tap on ether the 'Up' or 'Down' buttons on the front of the unit. An LED panel indicates the temperature you have selected. I set the unit to 37 degrees fahrenheit. After waiting more than four days the temperature of the unit never went below 57 degrees and primarily hovered at 61 degrees. To utilize the warranty you need to mail the unit back to the TechTools address in Brooklyn, NY. After reading a number of reviews by other buyers of this product it was advised not to bother sending it back as TechTools never responds. As the unit only cost $100.00 I decided not to pay [redacted] registered mail, which would provide proof of receipt, because of the high cost, plus the reviews indicated that those who returned their units via registered mail, found that the units remained in the local Brooklyn post office having never been picked up by TechTools.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of this completely non-functioning product. I also do not wish in incur the cost of shipping it back for the reasons described above.
