What a bunch of lies! I put Windows on my computer back in July Well before the December contact The technician was well aware of this has he had control of the computer I did nothing to "mess" with my computer after the initial contact My second call was to complain about the problems I was having after their "repair" After that session, I wrote a polite letter requesting a refund I received a call from a "supervisor" and agreed to one more try with a technician This person became very rude when he could not do anything to fix the problems and started to blame me He told me I had to go and spend quite a bit of money to fix the computer I did respond with ONE rude comment because by this time I am really mad I, at no time, hung up on the technician I asked to speak to the supervisor again and was told he would not be back for any days I asked that he call me I never received a call I wrote a second letter and reiterated my request for a refund and that I would no longer work with their technicians I received ONE call from a technician which I did not return since I have said that I will not work with their technicians since they have already told me they can't fix it How outrageous to try and discredit me Go ahead, I have never filed a complaint with Revdex.com before, in any state I have never been treated so poorly by any company Do check this company's records Also when you go online just using their website and SCAM comes up frequently: ***, scam board, etc many of the complaints are similar to mine This is obviously a pattern.I can supply copies of my letters and the one email I have received I challenge them to supply recordings of our phone calls and documentation of all their efforts to reach me that I supposedly didn't return.I absolutely reject their offer if $ This doesn't even come close to the expenses I am facing Also, because of this response to my complaint and the blatant lying, I am prepared to continue fighting them

This is in regards to the complaint #*** wherein *** *** ***, resident of ** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** had some concerns related to Tech Trager and the services provided to her.We would like to apologize for the inconvenience cause to *** *** ***However, we
have investigated this matter and so far unable to verify the claims made by *** *** ***.Our internal investigation suggests that her primary issues were resolved and she has made payment of $by check after the satisfactory service. It appears customer has upgraded her computer to Window 10, which was not advisable by our technicianAs a result of that Microsoft office might not be workingMS office require license keys, we DO NOT provide any type of vendor license keys. The customer appears to have messed up with the computer and she called us back and asking for the helpThe customer has started abusing the technician for the things that she did herself with the computer, however, our technician still patiently tried to help her but this time the conditions was such that if we would have corrected her Microsoft programmes, she might have lost some of the data and the same was told to the customerThe customer was rigid she started using inappropriate words again with the technician and she disconnected the remote session and the phone callThe technician tried to get back to her but from then till now she do not answer the calls, the customer did not cooperate with the technician and ultimately she sent us some letters pointing out mistakes in our work, we again tried to call her back so that we can take care of her computer issues but there was no answer from her side.We will highly appreciate if you can go through the customer profile once whether she is doing the same thing with only our company or she is not paying any of the company in terms of services.Even after all of the above we still respect customer’s views, therefore, we have decided to refund $as proratedWe have sent an email to the customer stating that prorated refund of $will be issued to her upon her acknowledgement.Please reach out to us if you have any further questions regarding this matterWe appreciate your co-orations.Sincerely,Tech Trager Inc

Tech Trager is a fraud. They hack your computer (or Kindle) to create a failure. Then they call to say they can install a "better" firewall. Once they are paid they stop the failure. So, you think they did give protection for your devices. In my case they waited three years. Then they called again saying that they "noticed" that I was hacked. They told me they could fix the problem for lifetime if I would go to [redacted] and purchase $650.00 in [redacted] gift cards, then bring them home and enter the rub-off codes into their screen which they kept open for me.

Lately I experienced problems with my computer and couldn't think of a technician good enough to fix them and the time required to find one. I contacted [redacted] who put me in touch with Tech Trager Inc. who fixed them all from a distance. I purchased a ''Lifetime Network Security (transferrable security ) + Lifetime Warranty program'' which will allow me to call them for a lifetime with any problem, issue or concern. I am amazed and impressed with the level of knowledge these technicians have and I am very glad I purchased a lifetime program with Tech Trager Inc.. Anytime I call, I'm sure someone at the end of the line will help me fix my problem. My only regret is to not have contacted them earlier. I would have saved time, frustration and money.

I had some problem with my facebook account and my computer was also working slow. I contacted tech trager and they not only fixed my issues but also cleaned up my computer. now my computer is working faster.

Review: On October *, 2015 my wife experienced serious trouble when working with [redacted] on her laptop computer. She called [redacted] customer service and their technician determined that her computer had a serious worm (bug), one which services like [redacted] or [redacted] simply couldn’t deal with, but had to be removed. We were told that Microsoft could deal with our problem which might take several days or a leading phone support based IT company called Tech Trager could provide quality service by highly certified technical professionals within a fixed time frame. It was our choice and we opted for Tech Trager. We were then put in touch with Joseph H[redacted] of Tech Trager who had such a technician and could clean up our laptop computer. This technician reported after only two hours that our problem had been fixed and the cost would be $329.99. This cost was reflected on an invoice received on our laptop computer. The invoice also noted a one year guarantee for this work. Joseph also offered us internet protection for all our computers and other internet devices for $200.00. We accepted this offer. Someone was to send to us an invoice on our computer or by e-mail describing this protection. This invoice has not been received. Anyway, we sent a check for $529.99 to cover both the $329.99 for the service to our computer and the $200.00 for the internet protection that Joseph had offered. After a few weeks, I called the Tech Trager telephone number twice requesting a description of the internet protection service that we had purchased. On one of these calls I talked directly to Joseph H[redacted] and he promised to send the invoice that we requested. On November *, 2015, I sent a e-mail to Tech Trader asking again for a statement of what it was that we purchased for $200.00. Again, there was no response. Subsequently, the problem with my wife's computer reoccurred. We contacted another tech service, Marquee IT located in Post Falls, Idaho, who determined that there the work done previously by Tech Trager had not been done properly. They found more than 4000 problems that should have been rectified by the previous work. So, they did a Computer Cleaning Plus Protection Package for our computer and provided a Computer Protection Membership. Since then all is going well with our computer. On January *, 2016 we requested a full refund from Tech Trager, but so far, there has been no response. We would like a refund of our payment to Tech Trager of $329.00 for completely unsatisfactory service work and another $200.00 for the promised future protection that we clearly did not get.Desired Settlement: A full refund for services not satisfactorily performed and protection promised, but not received.

Review: Was referred to them because I supposedly had a worm on my computer. I have spent three multiple hour sessions with their technicians. After each session, my computer is more and more nonfunctional. It is virtually worthless now. Their technician now says he can do nothing more to try and fix it. I should go buy all new programs to replace the ones I had that were removed or corrupted during their service of my computer. Also, I need to have a repair person look at it. My computer was working fine with no problems before I used their service.

Also, they are very insulting and disrespectful when you talk to them. They try to make you think you do not know anything, and tell out right lies!

I have also written two letters requesting my money back.Desired Settlement: I would like what I paid to be refunded. $229.99. I also would like to warn others that this is a possible scam.

Review: On August *, 2015, while attempting to resolve my screen resolution issue on my HP computer, this company claimed my computer had a Koobworm virus, they remote controlled my computer, charged me $179 for the tech plus $80 for a one year subscription of Mcafee protection software with the assurance that if I purchased a new computer, I could transfer the subscription to the new computer by calling them. The HP computer that they supposedly resolved issues and installed Mcafee on crashed on August **, 2015. I purchased a new computer (Lenovo), I called them to transfer my one year Mcafee to the new computer which they claim they did. I now find out,via Mcafee popups, that they did not transfer my one year, instead they put a trial month Mcafee. I spoke with several people at this company during this process--- Nathan, Nickolas, Rachel, Ben.

I have email from the company, a [redacted] receipt for my $280.00 check the company cashed.

I feel I was scammed by this company regarding Mcafee software and the unnecessary virus tech work.

I am out $280.00 and will not have security software on my computer in 5 days.Desired Settlement: Refund of $280.00
