Review: Did not respond to several calls about unresolved computer issues. Paid $170.00

Review: I was on my computer and a alarm sound started going off then a voice came through my speakers saying that my computer was just hacked and I needed to call the number on the screen which was supposed to be a Microsoft phone number. I called it and they went remotely into my computer and told my I had been hacked over 600 times and it was coming from Illinois and California. They showed me a long list on my screen of all the attempts and the successful hacking. They told me that my personal information was out there. I was confused and scared. They told me they could fix it for $1500.00 for one computer, this was for my PC. They also told me that my laptop had almost 3000 hacks! The man was clearly from India and when he mentioned Tech Ginee I said I thought you were from Microsoft. He told me that they were contracted through Microsoft. One of may contracted companies that Microsoft uses. I said that that amount of money was crazy and I am disabled. After a long conversation they finally told me $200.00 for 6 months of protection for 1 computer. I reluctantly agreed because they told me that all my computers are no good now and even if I purchase a new on I will still have the same problem because it was a network problem. After paid them I checked online and found out that I have been scammed and that many people got a trojan horse virus from them. I couldn't do it while talking to them because they had remote control of both of my computers. I don't have words for how upset I am right now. Please help me to get my money back. I'm afraid of these people. I am afraid they will somehow ruin my computer. I talked to someone there and they would not refund me. They have my credit card information and I'm worried.Desired Settlement: To be refunded and have nothing negative done to my computer or my credit card by these people.

Review: I received a pop up on my computer on Monday 1-11-16 stating I had a Koob Worm, I called the number ###-###-#### they told me that they would fix my computer and I gave them access. I paid them $549.99 and they gave me a 5 year warranty. I called the FTC and I was told I should change my bank account number. I feel this was a predatory action toward me. I didn't have any known problems with my computer. It seems it isn't any faster. I would like to warn others about this type of sales practice. I didn't call them they contacted me over my computer. then after a pop up I called them.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the $549.99 for the service I didn't need. and I will take my computer to get it cleaned at a reputable computer shop.

$699.99 FOR SERVICE CONTRACT, FOR THREE YEARS AND THE PROBLEM STILL CONTINUES EVERY MONTH FOR THE LAST YEAR. I AM TIRED OF CALLING THEM EVERY MONTH TO RESOLVE THE SAME ISSUE. THIS ACTION IS HURTING MY BUSINESSDesired Settlement: FULL REFUND $699.99 . COMPLAINT: EACH TIME I WOULD CALL TECH-GINEE SUPPORT I WOULD HAVE TO SIT HOURS ON TIME FOR THEM TO FIX PROBLEM.

Review: I called Techginee thinking I was talking to a ** service rep. I identified my problem - computer said my ** printer had an internal error. Techginee said they coudl fix that. But, there a service fee and gurantted they would fix the probelm. I paid $199 to have both my computers reviewed by remote - the tech rep said there were viruses on our compouters that would not allow the printer to work. Although my compouter seem to work fine. My wife's computer had the real isse. This guy was really upselling and putting the pressue on that we had bad things on our compuyer. After my wife's computer was resolved after two weeks it was even worse. I called Techginee and they were not willing to do anything, not even tale a look a look at the computer. I now have my wife's computer at a local computer repair shop which will cost me $139 to fix a problem Techginee should have resolvedDesired Settlement: I want $99 refunded
