It
started with an incorrect interchange part, so the job had to be
rescheduled. Shortly after the second
appointment in which the glass was installed, a storm came. They installed the glass but told the
customer to keep it in his garage until after the storm (wind and cold
temps),
but customer drove the car anyway. We
then tried to set an appointment for following Monday to fix the wind noise the
customer called to complain about, but customer never called back to confirm
Monday would work for him.
The
customer then decided to take the vehicle to *** *** Chevrolet, and they
accused Techna Glass of the damage. But as of today
no one will allow Wade to inspect the vehicle
We have been kept from fixing the problem with
the vehicle, nor will the customer take our call. We also offered to pick up, fix, and hand
deliver the vehicle

We can refund the labor cost of $for the customer, this is fairThe customer can contact Melissa, the Operations Assistant at TechnaGlass at (Monday- Friday 8- 4:pm ) to work out the refund details

When the customer was speaking with our
customer service rep and he had told the customer that her price was
$180, this was for a Windshield for her Nissan Pathfinder, not
the Back glass which is what she needed replaced; the customer
understood this and said that it
was okayThe rep did call he back and corrected that
misquote and re-quoted her the right priceThe customer then canceled and our
rep convinced her to stay booked with usHe then quotes her the $TOTAL
The rep even goes over all her information and the price again with her and she
agrees and scheduled the appointmentThe customer only paid for the product
she got and was quoted

We have spoke with the shop manager (who inspected the customer's windshield), the shop manager explained that the customer's windshield was clearly cracked from impact and it was not due to a stress crack(Stress cracks do not have impact points and our Lifetime Guarantee does not cover glass
broken from impact)TechnaGlass will honor our month Guarantee, Which allows the Customer to have their windshield replaced hassle free and TechnaGlass will cover the cost of the glass, all the customer has to pay for is the cost of labor which is $75.00 + taxIf the customer would like to set up an appointment for a Month Warranty Replacement @ $+ tax, they should call Melissa R, our Operations Assistant at ###-###-#### to get this scheduled

We are not refusing to get this customer taken care of. We only had declined a quote that had damage repairs on the quote that we were not responsible for. the attached quote was approved and the customer may get the damages repaired at West Valley Collision Repair Inc. Please call Executive...

Unfortunately we still stand by a forced impact causing the crack, we will still offer the 12 Month Guarantee. The customer can pay for Labor ($75.00+ Tax) and we will install the glass for free.

I am rejecting this response because:
They completely ignored the fact that one the phone calls from Monday and Tuesday that Jimmy stated "Go ahead and pay for your vehicle and if when I pull the call and the price was confirmed at $259 then we will reimburse you the difference" then once confirmed they refused to reimburse the difference. Then when speaking to Jimmy's boss Jeremy he denied having that call even after Jimmy said it was confirmed. I am unsatisfied with this response because they are only taking into effect the parts that work for them and not the facts I am giving.

I am rejecting this response because:
Most all of what they said is false. They did not ever tell me that I needed to keep my car in a garage and I would have remembered because I do not even have access to a garage. When they replaced my windshield there was no storm for many weeks for this was in early September, and I did not drive my car for several days after it was replaced. They first replaced my windshield after missing two different appointments which come to a major inconvenience to me because I have to work around my class schedule. They missed yet another appointment to fix the seal that had come off the windshield and did not come to fix it for almost two weeks. Now in January I am back in town for school and over the break I found that the seal was not installed properly because I am getting ice on the inside of my windshield whenever it freezes over night. I called and scheduled an appointment when I got back for the next week and they then missed this appointment also because it snowed and they said they were unable to get through the two inches of snow to the next town after the snow plows had cleared the roads. I also never took my car to [redacted] Chevrolet to have it inspected because I don't see the need to drive fifty miles to Provo to have this done and also because I thought that technaglass would be professional enough to come fix the job that they didn't completely finish in the first place. Technaglass has not tried to contact me to try and inspect my car at all, the only times that we have had contact to set up appointments are when I call them. I have not received any phone calls from the company since the first appointment I tried to set up in the beginning of January.
