Review: I've been giving a full-time schedule to attend TCI College by [redacted] and the registrar's office which I have been attending for most of this semester.I was charged 8,000 for this one semester and forced to take out loans, Pell grant and a Tap grant to cover the $8,000.The loans and Pell grant covered the payment of the tuition for this semester. When it became time to receive my balance monies from books and Tap, I was told I cannot receive any monies from Tap because the school gave me a class that was not of my major,therefore I was unable to get a refund from Tap because I was a part-time student. I've been attending this class I was not suppose to be attending, which will keep me longer than the time I suppose to graduate and will make me have to apply for more loans to receive my degre. This is the gimmick to this school and how they are stealing monies from students. I was told to by the dean and registrars office to take this class only to find out it was a waste of m in this time, babysitting fees, carfare,etc. I was mislead into believing I was a full-time student and also was charged a full-time tuition. This college is stealing lots of monies from students and something should be done about it.My loans has accumalated to 40,0000 and I just do not know how. Review: I attended TCI for the fall semester of 2011, I filed for financial aid and was told everything went through and that I'd be covered. I completed the semester passing all of my classes and earning all of my credits. after I completed the semester I enlisted in the army which was the sole purpose of me attending TCI. I deployed to Afghanistan from June 2013 to February 2014.upon my return I applied for a car loan and got denied, which made me check my credit to see TCI charged me full tuition ($5,400) and sent it to a collection agency dropping my credit score immensely. I then called TCI and got bounced around to 6 different people, I finally spoke to [redacted] who then told me there was nothing they could do for me and that I'd have to pay the amount in full. I was never aware of the fact that financial aid didn't pay the tuition and that I was responsible for the expense. I was also given an official transcript after I completed the semester, which to my understanding if you owe a school money they cannot release the official transcript until the amount is paid in full.Desired Settlement: I would like TCI to look into my financial aid account from when I attended the school and tell me why I wasn't covered and I'd like them to resolve the issue.

Review: I am a graduate of TCI College. I attended the school over 15 years ago. I requested a transcript in writing on three different occasions (with required money orders) over the last four weeks.

The first two never made it to the Registrars Office. About a week ago I sent a transcript request with two money orders by UPS overnight. I know it was delivered to the school mail room and know the name of the person that signed for it. I have been calling the Registrars Office for two weeks and all I get is 'Try back tomorrow' and 'We didn't get the mail yet' . Today the lady I spoke to (on several occasions) got very nasty with me over the phone and hung up on me. They wont give their names. I can tell they really don't care to help me because they say they will call back but never do. I really just want a simple copy of my transcript but the school refuses to release it without the $5 money order that I know is floating around that school somewhere. Horrible customer service.Desired Settlement: Simply cash your $5.00 money order and send me my Transcript. I cant believe how difficult this has become.
