the planned system changes well in advance to our retail partners prior to the discontinuation of the remote service. At the time of the notice to the retailers, TCP requested from its retail partners that any product still remaining on the shelves be returned to TCP and not sold. Some of the retailers chose to sell the remaining product and not return the product to TCP. If the customer is willing to provide a receipt of the purchase, TCP will pay for the return of the product to TCP, and upon receipt of returned product, TCP will provide the customer a gift card. The gift card will be to the retail store the items were purchased at in the amount of the original purchase price for the Connected products that were returned to TCP.

I spoke with a TCP rep yesterday and w/o having my receipts in front of me I quoted them a total of $117.91. At that time they were unable to guarantee any form of refund. I am willing to accept this offer of returning the items and receiving gift cards for the value. I have since located my receipts and my totals spent was $120.41. If TCP wishes to refund the original amount I quoted I can accept that. You will notice that I purchased some items from Home Depot and some from Amazon. If possible I would like the full amount on an Amazon gift card since that is where I will be purchasing my replacement system. However I understand if they need to split the refund onto cards from both stores. I am attaching screen shots of all receipts. Please notice on the Home Depot receipts I received a 10% discount and the refund value is listed under the item. This is the value I used when figuring my total spent.

This claim was reviewed by our Quality Engineer once the consumer sent the sample.  This was this was the finding.Water infiltration is strongly evident.  Rust/oxidation is everywhere inside the lamp and on the PCB.  Only water or some other fluid would cause this.  There is no...

component in our lamps that has enough liquid volume to drip out of the lamp and into a Playstation and cause it to fail.  See  photo attached that indicate the condition.TCP understands the concern but this is not a warranty or defect as the bulb was subject to some other condition to cause the bulb to fail with some sort of liquid infiltration.  Thus the consumer was informed this is not a product claim.    A free replacement lamp was sent as a courtesy, but the claim for a playstation was denied. Ref TCP Claim QA# [redacted]

The normal procedure is to contact the place of purchase (in this case the commercial distributor) and the distributor would then contact TCP with proper order and audit information.
A QA case was opened and pending receipt of samples to evaluate the claim.
Once information and samples are received, TCP will respond to this case and customer.

I choose no because I believe the case is far from being ready to be closed. Otherwise I do agree with what has happened so far.
In reference to the part above mentioned about contacting the place of purchase, I did start with them last September and they did send me 30 replacement bulbs. Then I was told that we needed to do a conference call with M-USA and TCP. We had already done one and I was told that I was at fault for purchasing these bulbs which were originally recommended by Kim at TCP. Also they say that this is a commercial application, but these bulbs are in apartments that are used no different than a residential home. How can you say these bulbs will last any longer or work any differently in a residential home application?
I received the call tag today and will send in the bad bulbs, pictures of our fixtures' receipts of the purchases and forms that TCP asked me to complete.

TCP will conduct an analysis on the returned lamps and advise once tests are concluded. A commercial application is one that can be different from residential due to the longer time bulbs are in use, type of fixture, controls etc. The warranty is based on hours in use. Once the information is received, TCP will evaluate and respond.
