I purchased a piece of equipment and this equipment was suppose to be new instead I received a re-furbished one Also, this equipment does not work and this company was suppose to have a 2-year warranty and so far I have not received a call back to resolve my issue

Customer purchased his ZIPLEVEL PRO-2000B from Amazon who independently purchases, stocks and sells our High Precision Altimeter and therefore it is Amazon that will provide a refund directly to him if he is dissatisfied.  Customer has filed a complaint with Revdex.com within about one business day of...

us first learning of his complaint without any prior communication of any kind during business hours or any dialog at any time with anyone at Technidea Corporation.  Yesterday and today since becoming aware of this customer or his complaints we have made multiple attempts to reach the customer by phone and are only able to leave messages on his voice mail.Here are some peculiar facts about this complaint:1)  We have no record of this customer because we did not sell any product to this customer so we have no way of knowing if he received a refurbished unit from Amazon as he claimed.2) Customer purchased his product on 2/18/2016 but apparently never complained to anyone about receiving a refurbished unit until six weeks later when we received an email on Saturday, 4/2/16 threatening a Revdex.com complaint.3) Customer claims that he "Talked to Company" on 4/1/2016, however, none of our four possible staff at Technidea Corporation who would have taken such a call has ever talked with this customer and we did not receive any voice mail from him on that date.  We have great pride in our customer service as demonstrated by our attached prompt and polite detailed Saturday night Customer Service email response to customer's email complaint.  Customer has never replied to the email.4) Customer left a voice mail before business hours on Monday 4/4/2016 and our Plant Manager promptly left him a a clear and concise return voice mail on Monday morning.5) On Tuesday our CEO left customer a voice mail and provided customer with his personal cell number yet all we have received in response is a complaint to the Revdex.com about a product we never sold to a customer who has never talked with us.It is odd that in his first communication to us, the customer threatens a Revdex.com complaint by email on a week end before we've even talked with him,  only contacts us outside of business hours, doesn't reply to our emails or phone calls thereby avoiding any dialog and then files a complaint with the Revdex.com within one business day about a product we never sold him.  We would love to help this customer resolve his problem with the product
sold to him by Amazon, however, we cannot assist him unless he first returns
our calls during 8A to 5P PDT business hours and/or replies to our Customer Service

I recently bought a Zip-Level and on my first use
of this equipment I have some serious problems with it, see below list
of problems:
 
1.      
I paid for a new unit and this one appears to be re-furbished.
2.      
I cannot use the unit because I cannot exit out of
the Calibration and Elevation function.  I am following the instructions
but it does not work as it should be
 
Please call me to resolve
this issue immediately or I will be forced to contact the Revdex.com and issue
an official complaint. Also please note I will be keeping this and
future paper trail to present to the Revdex.com as evidence
of problem if forced to.

are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your new ZIPLEVEL.
 As you can see from our customer service over weekends and after hours,
we are proud of our highly proactive assistance to our customers.You
can escape any of the functions accessed by the left six keys by
pressing the function key(s) for at least two seconds the same way you
would have entered the function.  To escape from the CAL function, you
would press the CAL key for 2+ seconds.  To escape the Elevation
function you would press the Scale and Res keys together for 2+ seconds.
 If the CAL annunciator is flashing then you will need to first escape
the Elevation function and perform a calibration.If
for some reason you still cannot escape any function(s), you can
initialize your unit by using the index and middle fingers from both
hands to firmly press the entire top row of keys for at least two
seconds.  You will need to re-calibrate and re-zero your ZIPLEVEL after initializing.   We
rarely have a refurbished unit available for sale and they are always
sold at a discounted price.  Some customers believe that their unit may
be used because of Cord Talc that shakes off of the Cord during
shipping.  Without the Talc, new Cord sticks to itself and cannot be
reeled until the Cord is used a while and acquires a film of dust.  Any
Talc on your Cord or unit can be removed with a damp cloth or paper
towel.  If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your new ZIPLEVEL,
 we provide a 30 day full refund for any ZIPLEVEL returned in new
condition.Unless you inform us otherwise, our
capable staff will call you as requested Monday morning during PST
