to me
Following is the email from [redacted] at [redacted] regarding the new home warranty that would not cover us.
We had to get another screw pile company to remove techno metal post screw piles and install his own. Jared tried to remove his screw piles. It took him 3 hours to remove one and then he quit. With the new company the old screw piles were removed and new ones installed in 4 hours. Jared removed his screw pile on Friday of the long weekend in October [redacted] from [redacted] said if the screw piles were in and the paper work was received by him by Tuesday morning the home could still be delivered on Thursday.
[redacted]t received his builders lien before we did. He got scared and paid the lien as he did not what anything to happen to his property.
I reimbursed [redacted] for the money he paid to techno metal post. I have 19 screw piles in a container that I have paid for and cannot use. That is why I want my money back.

On September 28th 2015, Techno Metal Post Central AB Inc. was contacted by [redacted] in regards to having screw piles installed for their manufactured home located on RR 32 by...

Winfield, AB. At this time she was given a verbal price per pile and we made a date of October 1st 2015, for install.
Our Techno Metal Post screw piles are CCMC approved as well as engineered. During installation of the screw piles by technician Jared [redacted], he did not reach the required torque to hold the load capacity of the home and therefore had to weld extensions to meet the engineering requirements for Techno Metal Post warranty as well as warranty for the Home Builder, [redacted]. Jared contacted [redacted], to inform her of the situation and got permission to keep moving forward.
The final total of the installation of the screw piles was $9544.50 (Invoice #[redacted]). Starting October 3, 2015, we found out through a third party that they were not happy with this amount and we were in negotiation to try and work out an amount that we both could work with, as we as a company, want our clients to be satisfied not to mention the fact that we are also neighbours (within 2 miles). In talking with [redacted] and then eventually [redacted], her husband, we had said we could take payment of $7000.00 which would be a loss to us. At that time, [redacted] brought up the fact that Jared was not a [redacted] accredited welder to which we proposed to have the welds fully inspected if he was concerned with the integrity of the welds at the expense of Techno Metal Post Central AB Inc.
In speaking with Rodney at [redacted] on October 5, 2015, he indicated that the final decision was to be made by the home owners [redacted] and [redacted], in regards to accepting the welds or not, not [redacted] and said nothing about [redacted] not warrantying the home because Jared was not a [redacted] credited welder.
During the dates of October 3rd to October 15th 2015, we were in contact with the clients [redacted] and [redacted], trying to come to an agreement for payment via text and phone calls to no avail. In this time frame [redacted] told us our screw piles had been removed and that they were at his lawyer's office and to contact him for their return. On October 9, 2015 we contacted our lawyer [redacted] of [redacted] in Olds, AB to handle the negotiation from there. In talking with [redacted], Kevin was not given [redacted]'s lawyer name or number. At this time Kevin advised us we should put a Builders Lien on the property to hopefully get our material back from our work.
In hopes to not have to go that route, Karen delivered the final invoice #[redacted] to the clients on October 15, 2015 for $8263.50. Their manufactured home from [redacted] was already delivered and in place on screw piles. At this time [redacted] still did not mention anything to Karen in regards to negotiation for payment or making arrangements for the return of the screw piles. This prompted the Builder's Lien to be placed on October 19, 2015.
Two payments were made by [redacted]t ([redacted]'s father) for Invoice #[redacted]; the final payment on the full amount was made on October 26th 2015 and the Builder's Lien was removed that same day.
On November 12th 2015, Jared [redacted] was contacted by [redacted] of the Breton detachment in regards to looking into a charge of theft of screw piles (in relation to our installation from October 1st, 2015) from [redacted]. Documentation was sent via email to [redacted] in regards to what had been taking place between Techno Metal Post Central [redacted]a Inc. and [redacted] and nothing further was needed and no charges were laid.
